La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Harrisburg-Hershey

The bed was comfy. Pool was not heated after being advertised as heated. That was the whole reason we chose to stay here. There was also a water line break while we were here so no water in the whole building all morning.

Generally cleanliness of the hotel and the breakfast offerings. Lighting was too low in the room. Designated floor towels would be nice.

The location There was a water main break on my last day so wasn't able to shower before I left and the beds could of been more comfortable

Proximity to highway and Hershey park Water stained ceilings, toilet paper rolls weren't changed from previous guest literally had to change the roll before using restroom. Room key didn't work had to get the cards reactivated, $50.00 charge for incidentals when there were none is completely ridiculous! While we were getting breakfast crew started taking the food away so we couldn't eat. Shut the dining room area lights off while we were eating. Extremely rude!

Breakfast spread was good. Near Hershey park was nice. First room had heavy smell of damp or wet. Looking further, the wall had water drips coming down it the ceiling in that spot was molding with clear signs of water damage. Front counter gave some push back claiming the walls had been bleached. Ultimately got a new room that wasn’t great but we dealt with it.

The location was great and the breakfast. We struggled to get our door open. The bathroom door kept hitting the ground making it tough to close, especially for my daughter. And we barely slept due to everyone’s doors slamming shut and people running around the hallways.

Staff was great but facilities are in need of a facelift.

The room was uncomfortable. The sink was clogged and it was very outdated.

Staff was helpful and prompt. My family enjoyed the breakfast buffet and loved making their own waffles.

Staff were friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Juice at breakfast was out of order so my daughter has nothing to drink cause any choice was coffee. The shower didn’t have conditioner. Had Shampoo, Body Wash and Body Lotion.

The room had an awful odor to it, it smelled sour and moldy. The chair had stains and the wallpaper had been ripped, the ceiling had masking tape on it. The stairwell was super dingy and had dark stains all over the carpeting. The shampoo/soap dispensers were falling off the wall in the bathroom, the hairdryer was no longer attached to the wall but the wall hanger was still attached to the dryer so you had to fight around that to even try and utilize the dryer. I stayed here a couple months ago and the room wasn't as gross but it was pretty abysmal this time around. I will absolutely not be returning to this location.

Breakfast was pretty typical. Good variety to choose from. They have eggs, sausage, Belgian waffles, cereal, oatmeal, toast, yogurt and a variety of muffins and danish. Room was neat and clean. AC worked well. Room did have a damp feel to it. The rug showed no stains or wear but would never walk on with bare feet. Rugs outside the room were filthy. They need to pull up all rugs throughout the hotel and have vinyl planking. Pool area was ok a little beat up.

Overall the hotel was fine. There was an issue with the cleanness. I noticed that one of the sheets that covers one of the bed had a dirty spot on it. The breakfast was very classical with not a lot of good food. The same food was presented in each day. The price was a little bit elevated in comparison with the service presented.

The hotel is in need of a good refresh, the pool area was not so nice. Smelled so strong of choline my grandson coughed continuously while there. Needless to say we didn’t spend much time there and the inside pool was one reason I choose this hotel. Our room was not serviced while we were there ( came on Tuesday left Thursday am) we went out on Wednesday am for the day and left our towels on floor to be replaced and came back to the towels still on the floor. Went to the front desk and ask about it and was informed they only service rooms every 3 days unless requested. The lady at the desk said she could offer me only 1 towel for our group of 4. Not acceptable. Breakfast food was good but not a good selection, no fresh fruit at all. No bagels. We will not be staying in this hotel again.
