Holiday Inn Express Harrisburg I-81 – Hershey by IHG

The hotel has gone down since last year. All the light bulbs are too bright. The in-room coffee maker is no longer available. The elevator did not work during our stay. The clerk was aggressively rude during check-in. The hallway smelled bad. The positive side is the air conditioning worked, and the morning staff were pleasant. I will not be returning to this hotel

Visited 1st time had great experience will definitely stay here next time visiting Hershey park. Nick at front desk very helpful great guy.

Upon entering the room. The beds were ruffled. There was a Pringle in the window sill. Weird. So, it "felt" unclean. The TV channel selection was not great, but okay. The breakfast was good. Good location. Very quiet. The mattress quality was marginally acceptable. We both awoke with sore backs. Price was on part with other chains, maybe a tad less, which is why we chose it.

It was a good stay and a good breakfast

The manager came around to each table at breakfast and asked if everything was alright. Nice touch.

I miss having a coffee maker in the room, first thing I looked for and not there anymore, parking was great, breakfast was ok, the pool really needs a good cleaning, touching the sides of the pool was cruddy, I couldn't go in. Yuck

Stopped overnight traveling to NY. Beds aren’t comfortable. Many of the towels/washcloths had stains on them. Room was 80 degrees when we got there. Took forever to cool off. Typical complimentary breakfast. Overall, the hotel wasn’t terrible but wouldn’t say again.

The Manger/Owner was out front of the main desk the next morning greeting guest with a handshake and asking how things were, very nice to see

Good stay. Reasonable rate. Nice pool and gym.

Rooms were spacious and cleaned and very close to Hershey Park..

Convenient and plenty of parking

My room was dirty. The bathroom looked like it was never cleaned, which ruined the stay for me. The floors needed to be vacuumed, I ordered a pair of slides so I didn’t have to walk on the floor in my bates feet.

The staff was great Comfortable, very conveniently located

After a bad check-in experience, Good breakfast, clean rooms, and newly remodeled.

The staff at this property is not helpful or friendly! The property checked me in and charged my card prior to me arriving, despite my reservation showing "pay at property". I asked to change the card upon arrival "check in" and they did not allow claiming it was too late. I travel at least twice a month and never had this issue. Management was not helpful at all. I would not recommend this hotel to any travelers.

Clean and the breakfast was really good

The hotel was clean and in good repair. The staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast had lots of selections. The dining area was clean.
