Best Western Premier Helena Great Northern Hotel

We really enjoyed this property. It was quiet. The room was nice. Has a super steakhouse right next door.

Great staff. Clean and well-kept. Decent breakfast. Comfortable bed. I will definitely come back.

We had a good one night stop here. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The free breakfast had many options and was perfect for us to eat and continue our travels. We would stay here again.

The room was clean and parking was easy Parking - the main lot was ‘closed’ so we had to move the car to a back parking lot which meant the only access was up some steps which was difficult with suitcases

This hotel was $100 to $140 per night more than all the other hotels with similar ratings. It’s labeled as “premier” so honestly from the price and name my expectations were pretty high. I mostly upgraded because of the advertised lounge on premise and upon my arrival on a Monday afternoon I was told they were closed for Labor Day. Not sure why I had to pay $140 more a night and no lounge but okay. Then I get to my room and the WiFi doesn’t work so I call the front desk at least a half dozen rimes no answer. I go down to the lobby and the representative is just sitting there with no one in line and not on the phone. I inquire about WiFi and was told it’s been broken for a while and they are waiting for IT to fix it. Again not sure why I paid a premium for this place. The place was clean and well kept. Breakfast is good and the Silver Star steak house is amazing. However I cannot justify paying $140 more per night for a mediocre hotel.

Upon check in however , the female that checked us in was rude and didnt even mention the breakfast and even berated the other front desk person in front of me .

Overpriced

I stay at this hotel every time I'm in Helena. It's always clean with a good breakfast and the staff is friendly and helpful. I never feel like the staff seems put out when I approach them.

Room was clean and a good size. I wasn't there long enough to see the property much or other amenities.
