The motel is olde and small rooms, but in decent shape. We had no issues. It worked well for us to stay two nights.

Awesome find! Some of the old pictures showed beds with those old type of comforters and I thought it would be an mediocre experience for $85. When we opened the door we were pleasantly surprised, the room was clean, the beds were super comfortable, the bedding and comforter were super soft and comfy like in a Holiday Inn, and they had a skinny and a fluffy pillow, what was perfect for us. The bathroom was clean. So besides the somewhat outdated furniture, TV and MW, and actual is eys to open the door, this room was equivalent to Hampton in in cleanliness and comfort. Highly recommend.

People who don’t feel comfortable with staying in an area where homeless people are present, who prefer brand spanking new, spacious hotel rooms with a large breakfast feast and a large parking lot will not like this place. People who like to be close as in walking distance to the heart of the city and its best restaurants will love this place. The property is old and shows it with heavy and worn furnishings, smaller rooms, pot holed parking lot, what appear to be long term residents hovering and smoking on the balconies, no elevator and some deferred maintenance like bathroom ceiling fans with no vent cover and poorly draining sinks. In fairness they are trying to keep things up as the bathroom had a new floor and fixtures. The usual bath amenities were available. The towels were plush enough. The decor is thrift store loud colors and patterns that clash. There is no breakfast. I wouldn’t stay again but it was conveniently located to everything we want to see.

Old motel but our room was very well kept up and very clean. Staff was friendly. The only improvement we could think of is a coffee maker/coffee in the rooms. We would stay here again anytime. Thank you!

The location was prefect, right downtown easy walking distance to restaurants and bars. Good amount of parking spots but a little tight to drive around sometimes. For the price it was a good place to stay if all you need is a place to get some sleep.

Got there later in the day and had to wait around for staff to come so we could check in

No place to keep my bag until check in time

Older property but if you're looking for a cheap downtown stay this is it. Walking distance to everything downtown and the staff is incredible.

Linens don't look like not washed due to the color, it seems that clorox was not added when they washed the Linens

This is an older cinder block property and a budget motel. These properties can be tricky to maintain. With that in mind, I was impressed and relieved when I entered my room. It was dusted, fresh, and everything worked perfectly well. I felt safe, cozy, and comfortable. ‘Slept like a rock. The cleaning staff and managers had great attitudes.

Very horrible, will not return. Only positive is the downtown location.

Great location and good price for area

Great stay- walk out your room and into the unique and wonderful Gulch Ave District - can’t ask for better… the lady at front desk was so nice and very helpful and friendly :) it’s kept clean and the beds are decent. I will stay here next time I’m in Helena for sure. It’s around the $100/ mark so if you’re like me and despise paying ridiculous rates it is a gem!! ( to compare the Days inn which is mediocre was charging $400/ night!)

The location for the price was very, very good.

The Good stuff: 1. Beds were clean and comfortable. 2. Bathroom was clean 3. Staff was friendly and helpful! The bad stuff: 1. There was no coffee make in the room! We didn't notice this until we woke up at 5AM and no coffee maker? The lobby does not open until 7AM and apparently coffee is available there. 2. Our remote control did not work properly with the TV, it would turn the TV on, it would change the volume, but it would not change channels or other features. Again this wa not discovered until the morning after.

Great location, very central with opportunity to walk and see Helena. This is a budgetary hotel (It's in the name, :)), that exceeds the expectations. Plenty of parking (mid-week), very clean rooms, decently quiet. Will stay there again. Thank you!

Right in downtown area. Plenty of places to eat and drink.
