Delta Hotels by Marriott Helena Colonial

The rooms were very clean and nice, lounge was very nice. Food was good. We stayed on a Saturday night into Sunday. The breakfast on Sunday was a little on the weak side. They don’t have any staff for breakfast on Sunday mornings.

Good location, spacious room, well equipped. A/C & heater is very old, incredibly noisy when it fires up! I had to switch it off. Noisy fridge: I switched it off too. At 4am, some noisy compressor or motor started and kept me awake. At nearly $300 for an executive room, I found the experience a bit costly.

Now for the real issues. Hot tub was not working which is one of the amenities we really wanted to use. The toilet paper was like sandpaper. Expensive hotels should have nice toilet paper. The lounge was very, very nice and the bartender was wonderful. The food was delicious, best part of the stay. I would not recommend paying the money for this “high end” motel, only to get low end service.

My family has stayed in this hotel every time we come to Helena. The staff are amazing. The location is great for food and shopping. The rooms are fairly large. And the amenities (pool, fitness room, laundry facilities) are better than most every other hotel I’ve stayed in across the nation.

The room had open saftey pin and plastic on the floor, the bed frame had toe nail clipping on it, I pulled back the sheet and found a glob of hair!! I took pictures of everything. One pillow case was questionable. In all my years, I've never more disappointed!!!The manager was complacent!!!

Front desk staff were very unfriendly. Conference amenities were nice, catering was very mediocre; the hotel layout, location, and amenities are less than impressive. Bar was nice, during the very limited open hours.

Check in person was very difficult to understand. Rooms were nothing special. Fire place was a nice touch.
