The person at check in was on their person phone on a call with their friend on speaker phone. Upon getting to our room.it smelled like smoke, despite being a no smoking hotel. I tried to reply to the text after check in asking if we need anything and never got an answer or the blanket and towel I asked for. I brought my own pillow from home with a non white pillow case and realized hours after driving away that I forgot it. I phoned and asked the same night of checkout if they had it and they didn't. I tried again another day in the morning since the person at checkout was great, and still nothing. I'm not sure how something that obviously didn't belong disappeared but it was the cherry on top of a not so great stay.

The room wasn’t very clean. The floor was sticky in between the beds. The bathroom sink had stuff stuck to it. The pool was tiny and not overly clean. Very outdated building. Could use a good cleaning and some updating.
-
The security latch was completely broken, which was disappointing, as I typically use it at night when traveling.

The staff was very nice and accommodating

Breakfast area guy did a fantastic job, rooms are old , seating is sparse, just needs an update, and replace the bible that was gross ! Pool wasn’t much of a pool…

We enjoyed our stay. Beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. Thanks for having us!

The room was clean but a little outdated. Some bigger scratches here and there.

The hotel is older but nice. The breakfast was great. Good tasting coffee! The staff were so nice and accomadating to us as we were staying here due to car problems.

This place is a dump! Was treated indifferently when we arrived, building on the inside was old , like back in the 50's. `You could imagine $10 street walkers working there. The food was okay, except they ran out of forks. None, couldn't find any. I swear I think the girl on duty was going to wash old ones out of the trash, but decided against it. The only person who was nice and knew how to treat their customers was working the food area. Trust me when I say I will never stay at a La Quinta again and I suggest you don't stay in Helena, Mt.s La Quinta.

Hall floors were disgusting…paper, dog hair, and dirt everywhere in the rooms floors were dirty, bathtub had hair in it. Paint peeling off walls….bad smell in the lobby and hallway. Person who checked us in said breakfast was at 6:00 got down ther in morning it didn’t start till 7 we had to get on the road by then. Guy that checked me out was wearing a hoodie up over his head and just grunted your good as I left. I have stayed at many La Quintas that were great.but this was the most disgusting one I’ve ever stayed at. Was talking to another guest in the hall and he said the same. Very poor

Enjoyed the breakfast. Good selection and always refilled
-
Staff very friendly, breakfast was good. Room smelled like dog urine, shades were broken so couldn’t open window to let light into the otherwise dark room. Couch was dirty. Overall we were most disappointed in the smell.
-
Comfy room, hot breakfast and friendly staff Thanks for the overnight accommodations.
-
Sorry sheets left sitting on made bed and tooth paste squeezed out on the bathroom counter. Raw bacon and the breakfast area is not set up in a manner that flows

Front desk staff was great.

No bedbugs. Breakfast was okay. The man who manned the breakfast did a great job. Our rooms were vastly overpriced. Our room had a hole in the wall, the fridgerator was very noisy and the toilet ran all night unless you got up and played with the insides. Light shone in both windows, the shades were not helpful at all. The bed was uncomfortable as well. Very disappointed in the appearance of the hotel and our stay their. Expedia lied to us about the price of my rooms. Will it be back

This was a great place for a quick two-day stay. You can tell the hotel is a little older, but it is in good condition. The bed was comfy, but I didn't realize how close you are to the freeway. Great budget option.

The rooms were very dirty. Floors were so sticky that you can’t keep your bare foot. Towels were not clean. Bathroom tub was also not clean
