Sea Sprite Beach Club

Location was awesome, on the Strand which is the walkway on the beach. The staff were so great, front desk and valets. Bar team were a little less responsive, we sat for nearly 15 minutes before being asked what we wanted. Check in is at 3pm, we got into our room an hour later. Front desk kept saying they were checking. Later the housekeeper told us the room had been ready at 11 (she told me 3:15) the next day. Front desk was really nice about it but it was rather annoying. The floors in our room weee covered in sand, they had to come back and vacuum. The soap dispenser in the shower was empty and so was the coffee pods.

Amazing. Enjoyed the hotel and the restaurant. Appreciated the beach chairs, towels and boogie boards for the beach. Wonderful.

things we liked about this hotel was the location was perfect and right on the beach. Most of the rooms had a nice view and the rooms were large. The staff was also very friendly. The towels had stains and were worn and tattered/frayed. The tv was promised to have Chromecast capability but it didn't work. The shower had no shower gel in the soap pump and the shower grout and sink grout was black with mold. The bed pillows were incredibly uncomfortable and small. The continental breakfast was worse than what you would see at a 3 star hotel. For $500/night it just did not meet our expectations.

Excellent location, friendly staff, clean room, great service!

Great location. Restaurant and bar are fun and lively. Our room was just right. Clean and comfortable. We did not have a view room which was understood (we didn’t want to pay a higher rate). It was nice to have a light breakfast but the serving area was a little tight. Our complaint was the valet. We provided a $10 tip when we left. We didn’t use our car during our stay. However, after handing the valet the tip she walked away and didn’t even lift our suitcases into the car! We are in our late sixties. It left a sour note.

Best room I’ve stayed in

My phone did not work. I told him no less than three or four times never fixed it. It’s a very old room does not look at all like the photos and why I was paying almost $100 a night more than my daughter is unacceptable The best part of the hotel is the bar and dining room area. The people there are very friendly very helpful. It’s a nice area and we spent much of our time there. Other than that, I wouldn’t consider ever using this hotel again They did issue me a credit that apparently is coming back through your site and going to Expedia Can somebody look into this and see if you’ve gotten any credit from the hotel? Staff was very kind and helpful

Enjoyed the clean room and great air conditioning. Perfect location to the beach. No elevator and had to carry luggage up and downstairs. $50 a night for parking. Restaurant was beautiful but had poor service. Staff was nice but getting beach amenities was awkward because you have to ask what they have, give them a card, ask to get a card back, etc.

The breakfast was not great, just muffins. The breakfast.

The bad: For almost $500 per night I found it poor to have loose and broken tiles in the bathroom, broken toilet amenities and poorly maintained window shutters that don’t close properly. The bedding needs to be replaced as my pillows smelt old.

Friendly staff, great location

The Sea Spite has been an iconic property for decades. The current iteration is much more upscale and comfortable (air conditioning). I like the new Sea Sprite more than the former iteration.
