SW Beach Hotel

Small room. No desk. Even though the room had no windows it was impossible to get darkness in the room. Every fifteen minutes or so, all night long, some loud compressor noise kicked on. Made it difficult to sleep. Doors are keyless, I didn’t like thinking I might have left the room unlocked. Great location, but I don’t think I would stay there again.

Overall we loved the room and the location. It had everything advertised and we were pretty happy with how quiet the hotel was in the evening even with being located right next to the door. The mini spilt in the unit was great keeping things cool. We didn’t use any of the hotel amenities outside the room like the roof top deck or bikes but saw other guests using them. I think it’s important to note there are NO onsite resultants or coffee shops. The listing implies there is but they are referencing near by restaurants and coffee shops. We also reached out to the hotel during our stay via the hotels.com app to ask for more blankets and never received a response. We also noticed some minor maintenance items that should be addressed like the curtain rod coming out of the wall and shower taking a really long time to get hot water (like a few minutes of it running) it was also pretty inconsistent. I would book here again though, our overall experience was very pleasant and again we LOVED the location.

Perfect hotel! Staff were amazing, location could not be beat, and room was comfortable and spacious. Queen beds only, but if you can live with that this is a gem of a hotel and a perfect location to stay in Hermosa Beach.

The location is amazing and very central. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and so was the room. The room was spacious enough for our stay. You really don’t need a huge room when you have gorgeous beaches so close by. Also loved using the complimentary bikes. The rooftop lounge area was another highlight, with stunning views especially at night. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Truly enjoyed staying here and look forward to visiting again.

Room could have been cleaned

Location is amazing by beach, pier and eateries. Free bike hire and beach equipment is a really nice touch. Kitchenette is handy too Parking is so limited and $35 per night. We got lucky and found roadside after 30 mins of driving loops of the area as lot was full. Basic room is very small and paper thin walls, damp too.

The hotel is in a great location, and the set up works pretty well. We were able to check in well before our reservation time by calling the hotel. Rooms are clean but not perfect, The rooftop is amazing. We would stay there again.

It looked nice from the outside, unfortunately our room was canceled last minute due to leaking pipe. We were moved to a nearby hotel that did not have AC Cancelled last minute, we canceled our next booking for this hotel
