Super 8 by Wyndham High Point/Greensboro

Very nice and nice location

This is not very clean at all. Cigarette butts in the elevator, the carpet smelled musty, the curtains looked dingy...overall not well maintained.

Someone banging on one of the doors on my floor all night

Very friendly staff checked us in early when we got there sooner than expected.

I arrived at 2:48 p.m. After approaching the desk and asking for help I was told to wait until 3 O'clock. I sat down on a chair near the desk. Another customer walks up right behind me and is immediately checked in. I feel like being first, she should have acknowledged me and helped me or at least say ok we're ready now. After my 3 day stay I realized I left some priced headphones in my room. I had already driven 7 hours home. I called the front desk and asked if they were found. The clerk said yes we found them in room 324. I asked why didn't someone call me to notify me that I left my property. She replied "that's not our responsibility". I asked I could pay to have them shipped... She said "no we don't do that either". I'm still very upset.

The elevator being out and a downright gross bathroom hurt this stay. Dirty towels. Dirty pillow. Not working hair dryer. The room was spacious and comfortable though and check in was easy and smooth.

There is nothing "Super" about this place, let alone 8 things. When we arrived in the room I noticed that there was poop stains in the toilet from the previous occupant. There was hair all over the floor in the bathroom. There was mud on the shower sheet dripping down into the shower. There is paint peeling all over. There are stains all over the walls in the living area. The elevator floor was sticky like somebody dropped a soda and it was that way for multiple days. Staff would walk on it with their shoes sticking to the floor yet they did nothing to clean it. The lighting was inadequate in the living area as well as the bathroom. But maybe that was a good thing given all the things you would not want to see anyways. The hotel was run down and filthy and many respects. This hotel has been the worst hotel I've stayed in and I've stayed in many. For your own health and safety I recommend you look for any other option. If you're curious what would be a better option, if you drove there in an automobile, staying in it would be a better option. They offer a free breakfast, but given the cleanliness of everything else, there was no chance I was going to eat anything that they had prepared.

Nothing spectacular, just a ok hotel to stay for a couple of nights.

Staff very rude mainly the lady that works night shift

"Booked a "standard" room for one adult and one 15 year old. It was TINY. We had to move and "upgrade". Second room had a tub drain that didn't work. Tub was de laminating. Toilet seat was missing a piece and broken. Had to be careful not to pinch yourself when sitting. Alarm clock buzzed so we had to unplug. Window didn't stay up. Smashed my finger in it badly. Breakfast was disappointing. Would not stay again.

The coffee pot was empty On a Friday afternoon, my room didn't have an iron and it took way too long to get one and the coffee Sunday morning was cold. While I definitely understand 'you get what you pay for' this hotel is trying to be something it's not. The rooms (especially the bathrooms) need a SERIOUS upgrade. It is in an EXCELLENT location with almost everything within 5-10 minutes. My husband who is a veteran appreciated the reserved parking spot.

Accommodations; Location; Value! Pillows were so soft, and several requests to have, at least one, changed, were essentially ignored.

Clean nice staff A little pricey

While I was there waffles, oatmeal, cereal, sausage and biscuits, stale white bread for toast, small stale muffins What it lacked fresh fruit, milk 3 out of 6 days, large fresh muffins, whole wheat or raisin bread, no hard boiled eggs, no fruit cups, no yogurt, 2 days out of 6 no plates for the waffles had to eat them from a bowl.

The staff is very helpful

Staff was awesome and rooms were clean.
