Best Western Plus Ft Lauderdale Hollywood Airport Hotel

When I attempted to call the front desk receptionist to arrange for our shuttle to the hotel from the airport, no one answered. My companion and I called several times with no answer waiting almost 40 minutes until we finally got someone to answer. I was a little worried because I feared that maybe my booking confirmation was inaccurate and I was calling the wrong hotel. Several of the outlets did not work in the hotel room. Some of the outlets did not have covers over them. In addition, the fire alarm battery was low so it periodically beeped. When I told, the front desk receptionist if the battery can be replaced, she said she would get it done. After leaving our items in the room to venture out, we walked bast the front desk and saw no one there. When were were outside, the front desk receptionist was casually talking eith other people. This may have been the reason, why no one was answering the phone. When we returned later in the night back to the room, the beeping was still going on. When I called the receptionist desk a man answered the phone and said that he would bring a battery. When he arrived to the room, he asked if I wanted to replace the battery. I was surprised to get that question. I told him to replace it, but he did not appear to know how. Eventually, when he was able to swap the battery, it was not properly done and therefore, the fire alarm was not functioning at all. The accomodations were fair for the price, but it was a comfortable experience.

To be honest, the best thing about this hotel was the air-conditioning. We had an issue in our room with the door not being closed properly, our bathroom smelled like mold in urine and we didn’t have enough towels and washcloths. Even though I called to request Moore nothing came so I went down to report the issues with our room and to get an additional towels. I really would’ve thought that someone would’ve reached out so I can be compensated somewhat, but I have not heard anything which is disappointing.

The breakfast was horrible. The room was not clean.

The evening front desk clerk was really nice and welcoming. The only issue was breakfast was not appealing. The sausage links were swimming in a grease pan. No waffles like other properties have.

Quiet, clean, spacious room Pool wasn’t open, staff was not friendly or inviting

Black mold all over my room from walls to the ceiling. Actually I ended up having to leave the hotel to go stay at a different hotel.

However, the staff was very pleasant and the shuttle service the hotel provided was excellent!! Appearance:The room looked old, not modern like the pictures on the website.

The room was good, and the breakfast was as well. The shuttle to the airport was great. I did not like the location, which was very confusing when driving around a city you do not know. The location is an industrial location. I thought this one was on Las Olas Boulevard.

I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of this room.

The hotel was clean, quiet and great breakfast with a big variety. Pool was closed for renovation but we were able to take the shuttle to Home2suites and enjoy their pool. There is nothing to do around this hotel. We only used it because it was 20 min away from the Miami stadium for the World Cup, so I don’t recommend if you are looking for entertainment close by.

Decent hotel for 1-2 night stays. Small rooms but good property location

The rooom was ok for the price, confortable beds , good shower , decent breakfast . The only issue was the ac , it was way too cold and when we tried to make it warmer it made some weird sounds. Besides from that , everything was great !

hard to get even toilet paper let alone towels. breakfsst ok but untidy and out of many basic items and dont refill. swimming pool under repair for years.

Property needs to be updated
