Holiday Inn Express Waikiki by IHG

The property is convenient to everything in walking distance.

Unfortunately, both the pool and jacuzzi were cold. Jacuzzi was actually colder than the pool so much we couldn’t enjoy it at all and ended up just leaving. All other amenities were great :)

Was confident place to stay before and after our cruise.

Was a great stay. Less expensive than other properties on Waikiki, but within 10-15 mins walk of the beach and all the attractions. Excellent and friendly staff!

Traffic is very heavy because of the zone, but beach is a walking distance, restaurants and other shopping stores within 10- 15 min. walking Elevators are very slowly, depends on the floor you are, it’s better to use stairs. Parking garage tall 6.3 so preferable to rent a small SUV or car for easy access because of one road for both ways, watch out!

The staff were all excellent, the breakfast buffet awesome, but the elevators need to be replaced!

Ice machine not working

The location is great, and the included breakfast was fantastic. The coffee was surprisingly bad for Hawaii! My biggest complaint was the size of the room. If you plan to have 4 people, they better not bro g more than a backpack each! It’s a very tiny space.

We’re a family of four with 2 teens so we appreciated the good free breakfast. The elevator got pretty busy so if that’s not for you, ask for a lower floor and use the stairs. On site parking was nice. As was the 5th floor deck with pool/spa and family games. Staff was super friendly. My only minor complaint is the bathroom needed a deep clean. It was cleanish but could have been cleaner.

Housekeepers never vacuumed carpet for 5 days. Clean towels each day. Beds remade each day. Breakfast good each day. Need to provide at least one bottle of water to room each day. Would like to have been on floor with ice machine

Slow elevator but other than that stay was great

Great hotel and very friendly staff. Breakfast was good. Location was great!

Parking “wasn’t guaranteed” but we were able to find parking for every night of our stay! A little pricey but it’s honestly the same everywhere else. The pool and jacuzzi are very cold which was the only downside since we decided not to use them because of this. The elevators are a bit slow because of how packed the hotel can get, but it wasn’t the worst thing ever, I still feel like the hotel was definitely worth it!
