However, the staff was great and the amenities did their job, would stay again.

Our room was clean for a hotel room, staff were friendly, breakfast was just okay would have liked to see more fruits beside just bananas and oranges, we did like the oatmeal and cinnamon rolls, pancake machines uncooked the pancakes.our room had an amazing view.

Upon arrival, our room was not clean. The carpet was filthy and there was white crumbs all over it. We had to keep our shoes on while we were in the room. There was hair in the shower, on the shower walls, and even on the walls in the bathroom. We did not get fresh towels for two days. On the second day I finally asked if we could please have our room serviced. This was my fifth stay at this hotel, and I’ve never been disappointed in it until now. Not sure I will stay here again.

They always have hidden daily costs for amenities, and they close the pool due to bad weather—yet they still charge you!

Receptionist offered a paid upgrade and I am glad I took it. Great ocean view. Morning breakfast was top notch Hotel was walking distance to the beach which was great lot of liquid snow but what can you do. lol

Location was walkable in Waikiki, which we loved. Staff at reception was helpful except woman at info desk very condescending. Booked our PCC tickets thru concierge. Daniel was really helpful.

I was always staff around when you needed one. I need a house cleaning. I was there front desk bellhop they were all right there when we need him.

The parking structure was not properly lit, and we had to use the flashlights on our phones to safely find our way because the emergency lighting was not working. The elevators were also out of service, and the backup generator appeared to be limited to powering the office and a fan, leaving guests in very hot and uncomfortable conditions. What was most disappointing was the lack of communication and assistance provided to guests. There were no announcements explaining what was happening, and no water, additional fans, or other accommodations were offered. We saw neighboring hotels taking steps to provide their guests with some level of comfort during the outage. I understand that the power outage itself was outside of the hotel’s control. However, I believe the hotel could have done much more to communicate with guests and provide basic comfort and assistance while the power was out. Given the significant disruption and the lack of basic amenities during the outage, I also believe I should have, at the very least, received a refund for two of the four days of my stay. Overall, it was a very frustrating and uncomfortable experience, and unfortunately, not one that met the level of service I expected.

The breakfast was great. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The pool was very nice. They even have cabanas and a small bar. The location is close to the beach. I never found anything that I didn’t like at this Holiday Inn Express! If I had to say something it would be the size of the rooms. They are small. That didn’t bother me personally. I don’t spend much time in my hotel rooms so that doesn’t make or break it for me!

Very good staff. Breakfast was good but same menu everyday.

Wonderful staff

Breakfast 10/10! Staff cleaned the room everyday! The only downside would be the parking , very expensive & not a guaranteed spot.
