Polynesian Residences Waikiki Beach

The rooms were clean, but the balconies overlooking the main street meant that it was very, very loud at night. They do have a small pool onsite, which was nice. But it's considerably more aged and smaller than the photos suggest. Overall, it wasn't a bad hotel, just be wary of the parking charges (and the fact that any of the near parking areas are kind of sketchy with the number of drunk/drugged up homeless camping in them) and that the photos may have been taken 10+ years ago and/or AI photoshopped to look newer/nicer.

The staff was excellent, very helpful and provided great service. Our room was perfect for our family. My husband enjoyed the bidet and the kids loved the balcony that was overlooking Kalākaua Ave and were pleased to people watch.

Good location near the Fort DeRussy beach area. Short walk to amenities, beach and restaurant. The room was as advertised. Good for the price. The pool was nice. We had it to ourselves on a couple of occasions.

Staff not very helpful, mind you our room had no a/c and we had to move all our stuff and 2 little kids in the middle of the night due to the room being so hot. Then after that they offered us nothing not a discount or even a late check out

Rude staff

Everything is ok!!!Although I would have liked better maintenance in the rooms, the staff was pleasant and very attentive; the location is incredible,close to everything! It’s an excellent location,even if a bit pricey considering the lack of room maintenance—but overall, I recommend it!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay there. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay there again.

This place is in dire need of a remodel. Wallpaper peeling off, water damage to baseboards and trim. Took about 4 minutes to get hot water out of the shower. I know everything in Waikīkī is expensive, but I definitely felt this place was not worth the money.

This hotel was dirty, a grumpy lady in the front and the parking is a bit of a walk. And not a 8 min walk from Waikiki beach but a 12 min walk. There was also a drug tool under the bed the staff didn’t clean correctly a glass pipe was under the bed and I showed the lady at checkout

Great location next to great shopping and eating, just a short walk to the beach too. They offer FREE boogie boards and beach chairs than you can bring to the beach. The staff was so kind and helpful! The balcony provides great facilities observing of the main drag for the best people watching etc! Great pricing for a stellar location!

Staff are friendly. Property is clan and convenience location

Nice place right on Beach Walk. You can tell it is an older place, smells musty in the hallways. Front desk check in area very nice and welcoming. Hallways always seemed a little dirty and needed vacuumed and the showers needed a little more cleaning. We booked two rooms, one room had very comfortable beds, the other room both beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the beach. Overall a good experience and very pleasant staff.
