Polynesian Residences Waikiki Beach

The property was in a perfect location in downtown Honolulu close to waikiki beach and entertainment areas The rooms were old-fashioned, the mattresses were tremendously uncomfortable to the point where I suffered from back pain during my whole stay. Additionally, the rooms located at the front of the property were noisy due to busy traffic in the front street. I had to request a change of room because I could not sleep due to the noise and the front desk staff was nice enough to facilitate this change of room, thank you! Cleaning staff should pay more attention to making sure there are enough bath and kitchen supplies. Good place if you are looking to party in Honolulu and not spending much time relaxing in the room, definitely not a good place if you need relax, comfort and a good night sleep. Facilities were limited, with only a pool but no gym.

The bed was comfortable . They had a bidet which was nice . Shower was dirty . Hair on floor . We only had 2 towels the first night - no hand towels or washcloths . The y didn’t have their towel delivery . We were right on the main road - it was extremely noisy - stopped about 3 am .

Excellent location on the main road. Terrific for getting around and convenient for good shops, restaurants and theatres. Lovely wee swimming pool and outdoor area. Would go back.

Perfect location.. an active area for short vist or vacationt. Many, retail stores and restaurants. Great for walking, all things are just a few steps away. The building a little dated but all else was good.

Polynesian Residences are conveniently located, essentially next door to The Hard Rock Cafe, with easy walkable access to restaurants, bus stops, coffee shops, variety stores and, of course, beaches. They have an outdoor pool (that we didn't use) and sun area. Although the location is in a densely urban area, it was quiet and safe. We would definitely choose to stay there again.

Great location near shopping, restaurants and the beach. Beds were comfortable and staff was pleasant and helpful. The family suite we were in had a refrigerator, microwave and a stove top which was handy. Hard to find with parking a few blocks away. You have to park in a loading zone and get a paid pass before parking. I only found this out when I called because I was having trouble finding the hotel. Also I was disappointed that the washing machine didn’t work (a new one was on order).
