Beautiful location. Our double balcony room was wonderful. The bed was a bit too soft and the hallway was dated, but otherwise we enjoyed our stay very much.
-
However, the bed was terrible. It curved down so low and I had a back ache for 3 days.

In love with the room, not a bad one. Stayed 3 separate times over the course of July 2026. The rooms have mini split AC units which will freeze you out in a good way (if you want it to). You can see the ocean/beach from the balcony of the east facing rooms, west facing is clear beach ocean views. Didn't frequent the bar, no pool needed as it sits literally on Kaimana Beach. Be careful of the undertow at that beach. I'll stay again next visit to Oahu.

Beautiful floor to ceiling windows in our junior suite. Made every sunset memorable

The location was ideal, right on Kaimana Beach. The hotel is minimal with no amenities. They give beach towels and foldable chairs that you bring to the beach yourself. There isn’t a gym or pool on site and my room’s AC wasn’t working properly. I told staff of the issues. TV wasn’t working well either and kept having glitches. The staff said they would send someone, but it never got fixed.

Excellent location on the quiet end of beautiful Kapiolani Park. Easy street parking overnight. Waikiki amenities are close but not so close as to be noisy at night. Laundry facilities, beach towels and chairs, and free reef-safe sunscreen are a nice plus. Hope to be back soon!

This is a beautiful classic Hawaiian hotel. We loved our time there. The beach is a lot quieter than Waikiki.

Loved the location and the vibe of the hotel - laid back yet fun and energetic.

Excellent view of Diamond Head Crater. Room was clean and comfy. Great pillows and wonderful breakfast from bordering the beach! Had a wonderful stay.

Kaimana Beach Hotel is a great place to stay. It is located on a stretch of road that leads into private residences, as such, it is very quiet. This also makes this hotel furthest away from restaurants and coffee shops on Waikiki. The hotel and staff are great. The hotel restaurant and bar are also convenient if you don’t want to leave the property. The resort fee includes beach access, beach towels and chairs, as well as reef safe sunscreen.

No microwave in the room, disappointing as I couldn’t warm up my coffee or leftovers which we were really looking forward to. Guess I should have checked but I thought most rooms came with a microwave, just didn’t think to double check.

Location, location, location. The housekeeping was great, front desk was helpful and overall a great stay. My only complaints were the lack of amenities in the rooms. It's 2026 and the lack of a coffee maker and microwave in room was disappointing. Also, while not in hotel management, I imagine it's relatively cheap to get some way to access streaming services on the tv without having to bring a laptop and hdmi cable. Otherwise great, the staff in particular. Although the lack of front desk staff in the later hours wasn't great. They were there, but there was no bell or anything to ring them. I get not having someone literally at the front desk 24/7, but if you're going to do that at least have a way to ring them instead of just waiting until they happen to see you on the camera or whatever. Also this is more Expedia's fault, but self parking was advertised, however valet at $55 a day is the only option unless you want to chance the street metered parking the entire stay.

My friend and I stayed at this property on our first trip to Hawaii, and it was super memorable. The staff was nice and helpful. The room and the view cannot be beat. We splurged on a King Ocean View, which was worth it. Highly recommend!

I was very disappointed with this property. It definitely needs to be renovated. The hotel staff was horrible, but I will say the restaurant staff was amazing. Probably won’t stay here again.
