And friendly at check in. The hotel is dated with some normal beach wear and tear but everything was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. I chose this hotel specifically because GPT said it has the best beach snorkeling in Waikiki. I found it just below average. Too many people (myself included) to keep good reef health, I suppose. The hotel had a great vibe and is in a neat location next to several giant parks which makes for great morning walking!

Great location.

Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. I paid for the breakfast and it is so worth it! It includes a voucher for the restaurant, which gives beachfront access and perfect views! The hotel offers FREE amenities such as beach towels and chairs, which is a great plus. The ocean view room is the BEST. Comes with the perfect balance of city and ocean views. I spotted sea turtles while standing on the beach right outside of the hotel. The location is nicely placed across the street from Diamond Head Volcano, which offers trails if you’re interested in nature walks. The Waikiki Aquarium and Zoo is walking distance, along with shopping centers in close perimeter. I enjoyed my stay! No rental car was needed.

The beach was beautiful. The ice machine is on the 8th floor only and it took a long time to get room service to bring ice.
-
Killer hotel on dandy beach s 20 minute pleasant stroll to the density of Waikiki. Nice cafe with two 5 star restaurants next door.
-
Great small hotel at the very end of Waikiki Beach on a quiet sandy beach next to a huge park. Brest sunsets!
-
Jaw-dropping ocean view on best beach. Wildlife in abundance including turtles and Hawaiian monk seal visitors. Life guard for safe swimming and a/c in your room. Staff is full of smiles and lots of aloha spirit. Food at Hau tree was great and bar is convenient. Beach chairs, towels, sunscreen and rinse shower at guest disposal. Easy walk to town. Enjoy walk around crater and park outside your door. Bed is comfy and safe and coffee in your room. No microwave.

Amazing location!!

Don’t stay here. We were staying for 5 nights. We had a park view room which was in an attached building with no elevator, narrow stairs case, & the AC was a mini split that didn’t work. When I spoke to the front desk about it, we could upgrade the room for $117/night. They finally gave us a Mountain View room for 1 night which wasn’t any better except the AC worked. Rooms are very tiny, they only have 1 ice maker which was on the 8th floor. The beach was roped off so you had to walk down the road a bit to get to a beach which was very dirty and sketchy. It cost an extra $55/night for parking & $45/day for a resort fee. We stayed 1 night & got our money back & went to a safer, cleaner location up the coast a few miles.

such a cute little hotel - great restaurant nice location and loved the coffee shop
-
Awesome view awesome staff awesome location 10/10 recommend for a out of the hustle and bustle location but still close to everything

The Kaimana Beach Resort had such a cool funky vibe. It was close enough to the exciting parts of waikiki, but far enough that you woke up hearing birds breezes in the ocean. Although we didn't get to enjoy the beach directly behind the hotel due to the monk seals,

Another great stay at the Kaimana, this time with a perfect ocean view room. We love the quiet and peace away from the main drag of Waikiki, as well as the proximity to Kapioloani Park, with its beautiful lawns and Rainbow Shower Trees.

Right on the beach, quiet and away from the busy city..

I loved this hotel on a quiet end of Waikiki near Diamond Head. Laid back but clean with very nice, updated features and lovely products in the bathrooms. Great coffee shop and restaurant on site.
-
The King room with Diamondhead view was very small and the view was pretty limited. The hotel needs a serious interior refresh. The staff were pleasant and the room, not withstanding its limited size, was very clean.

Rooms were clean. Staff was good. Would have been nice to have beach chairs, towels, etc. to enjoy the ocean.

We stayed in a queen, ocean view room and we had an amazing view of Waikiki Beach. We also were able to see the momma monk seal who had her baby on the beach. Initially we were disappointed that the beach was closed, but it was amazing to watch them throughout our stay. We struggled to get in at dinner without reservations, but we did have a drink at the bar. There is no coffee in the rooms, but there is a convenience store at the end of the parking lot. We didn't know there wasn't free parking available for hotel guests, it was $50 a night for valet parking, or on street parking with free parking from 6pm to 10am. This worked well for us.
