Lotus Honolulu at Diamond Head

We had an amazing stay at the Lotus! Staff was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The resort was just far enough out of the hustle and bustle but easy to access Waikīkī. The amenities were easy to use, the living room was incredible especially for us while the tropical storm took over the island. Definitely recommend staying at the Lotus.

We were on the 12th floor with a stunning view facing Diamond head and the beach. It was much quieter on that side of the island but that also meant Uber and other transportation took more time and money to access. The staff was friendly and informative. For the price of the room, they should offer more amenities. The complementary soaps were high quality and the way they welcome you to the hotel is very special. The elevator was out of service and there was only one but it didn’t take long. I was there Monday and Tuesday and their restaurant was closed. I checked out before I could experience their family style service.

Clean room, great view off the strip woth a small less crowded beach.

The property was clean and comfortable. The rooms were equipped with modern furniture and amenities. We absolutely loved the view of Diamond Head from our balcony, especially in the morning. The complementary water bottles were nice, and all of the staff we interacted with were all very friendly and accommodating. Kaimana Beach, which was a very nice family friendly beach, was a just short walk from the property. We loved that the property was off of the "main drag" but still close enough you could walk, it was nice to have a vehicle for our trip, but it definitely was not required. Parking was somewhat limited and somewhat compact. Made it somewhat hard to find a spot especially later at night...really the only negative of the property

Location was excellent just steps away from the beach also great walking distance to all shops and stores and restaurants It would’ve been even better if the hotel had a pool.

This was the second time we stayed in Lotus and it has absolutely been amazing again. The view, the vicinity from all famous spots, its private beach, daily room service. My favorite place for sure! We’ll return. Nothing

What I love about this place is its intimate size—only 50 rooms total. That smaller scale means every corner is beautifully maintained, and it never feels crowded or impersonal like some of the bigger resorts nearby. The staff genuinely make you feel at home, from the front desk team who greet you by name, to the maintenance crew keeping everything running smoothly, to housekeeping who take real care with the rooms. You can tell everyone here takes pride in the property. Between the attentive service and the peaceful, boutique feel, this has quickly become one of my favorite places to stay in Hawaii. I'll definitely be back.

Quiet hotel at the very far end of Waikiki beach. 2 minute stroll to sandy beach, A+ resturant in house.
