Location, pool and great staff Dogs were noisy at times

The location The floors were sticky the furniture was run down and the walls needed painting the rumor had an animal smell

Very good location. All is well except the bathroom in the hotel is old and outdated

The hotel has such a fun, relaxed island vibe. The pool area was beautiful, the food was delicious, and everything was clean and well maintained. One of the things we appreciated most was that it was dog-friendly, which allowed our friend to bring her Golden Retriever along while we visited. That made our trip extra special. The location was perfect, and we loved spending time by the pool and just soaking in the atmosphere. It’s one of those places that simply makes you feel happy and on vacation. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming, and pet-friendly place to stay. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!

Everything but the bathroom. Why oh why do hotels use farmhouse doors with large gaps as bathroom doors is beyond me..Sure, id love to both listen and smell the other guest with me in the room. Failure.

Really enjoyed our stay, felt like a home away from home. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Extremely clean considering pets allowed. Only complaint is lack of microwave, but typical for the area. Would recommend for families!

This was our second time staying at SurfJack. We love the location and the less hectic vibe. Rooms are decent size and beds are comfortable.

Friendly staff, very open and accommodating, no resort fees, towels, and beach stuff were a part of the package without extra cost, location, and it looked pretty cool Though I love that it’s a place for pets, it wasn’t nice seeing pee in the elevator, as well as on the floor, as we walked out to the pool. Though it was cleaned up pretty quickly. There was definitely a dog smell at times.

Being kid friendly meant sometimes hearing a wee one cry. We have 3 grown children, but we remember those days. So for us, the noise was familiar. The bed was comfy. The linens were crisp. The room was spacious which was good for me as I’m handicapped. The balcony was great! The staff was kind. The bartender, a super tall fellow was nice too. We never went swimming. Which we both wish we did as we were checking out today. That’s one reason we chose this place was for the fun pool. Just not enough time in the day. But we did borrow 2 towels every time we headed to the beach or snorkeling adventure. Just bring them back and drop them into the dirty towel receptacle. They even store your luggage if you need. Which we did. It was a safe area to store. The location was spot on. We were very near everything. All of our tour pick ups were within 5-10 min walk. We never used a car. Just walked. It was a great stay!!

I enjoyed the laid back vibe and all the beautiful doggies. However, it was hard to enjoy due to the poor conditions and many repugnant smells. Skipping puddles of pee in and out of the elevator and hallway was not a vacation activity I planned on participating in. We had to buy our own towels for bathing as the ones provided had a sticky residue. The hot water cones and goes when there is water available for showering. Watch your credit card as well as mistakes were made during my experience after checking out. It was corrected promptly I must mention but it still contributed to the numerous aspects that made our once in a lifetime mother daughter trip fall short of expectations to the say the least. The staff was great and friendly which was a plus but I would not stay here again .

The surf jack is a fave. This trip we stayed in a two bed suite that had balconies all around. It was awesome for our family of 4. We also really enjoyed the pool and restaurant. The food and drinks and vibe are excellent. This spot is a gem.

This hotel was nice and staff were helpful. It is in a prime location to all restaurants and the beach. What I didn’t like was the rooms were so small. We were 3 and it was super tight. I feel like I barely had room to move around. Also-if you have a car you need to park off site which was like a 5 min walk from the hotel. They did take our items to our room while we parked our car which was nice. Also, kids need to leave the pool at 6pm from the pool which was hard for my son since he loved the pool. I think this hotel is more for adults and not so for families with children.
