Great stay
-
The general manager Jim was the most hospitable. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful, clean, yummy restaurant and chill vibe pool area

awesome experience!

At the restaurant, Molly was not a good server. My salad arrived missing several ingredients that were clearly listed on the menu, and no one explained or corrected the mistake. The valet parking experience was also frustrating. Even though there were parking spaces available, I was told the valet was full. Instead, I was directed to park at the Hyatt parking garage, which is about 10 blocks away from the Wayfinder Hotel. Having to walk that distance after paying for a hotel stay was unacceptable. The front desk staff provided very limited information. Most of the time, I had to find answers on my own because they were not very helpful. The best part of my stay was definitely the beds—they were incredibly comfortable and provided a great night’s sleep. A special thank you to the Housekeeping Department—well done! The room was always clean, well-maintained, and they did an excellent job throughout my stay. It’s a shame that such comfortable accommodations and excellent housekeeping were overshadowed by the unfriendly and unhelpful attitude of other staff members.

Starting out, I had a family of 4 staying at this hotel and the room that we stayed in was very small. Did not look anything like the photos. Upon going into the bathroom, the ceiling was covered in what I can describe as maybe rust or something of the like. The walls were filthy as well. And lastly, I had payed extra for breakfast, and upon arrival, we were informed that they did NOT do breakfast. The staff was not helpful at some points and didn’t give us full explanations on amenities and/or questions that we had.

Room was clean but small. Balcony is nice to have. No in room coffee maker or microwave. Had a couple of minor issues but the staff was very quick to assist. All staff were great. I highly recomend if your looking for a nice budget hotel in a really great location with super nice staff.

Staff was very friendly. 5-10 min walking distance to beach. Clean hotel! Very budget friendly and nice for the price.

Great place! Very nice view.

The brutalist style interior gives you a nostalgic feeling met with the warm island breeze blowing through the lobby area. Food at the restaurant is good, not a bad price either. Great start to the day. Coffee shop is open early if you want to kickstart the day earlier. Many events are on-going around the hotel from live music (musicians and DJs) all made to help you relax not a crazy party scene. Its a family friendly atmosphere with good energy all around. I spent many hours at the pool area just enjoying relaxing environment. Plenty of room for families, couples, or solo travelers. I have been to this hotel twice with family and really enjoyed my time there. If the prices don’t change much this is a good value and quality slightly away from the mainstay crazy part of Waikīkī. I truly believe you will enjoy your stay there too!

Staff were so welcoming and friendly. Free towels at the pool and welcome drink on arrival. The decor was beautiful and just like the photos. Excellent location in Waikiki. Would recommend and would love to return!

Super clean and spacious room! The pool was so relaxing and we had an amazing time 😍

Locations Too noise, not clean.

Unfortunately, our experience quickly went downhill. After checking in (which was seamless), we noticed that the bed sheets appeared to be dirty or stained. Just a few minutes later, the ceiling vent began aggressively leaking water directly onto my luggage. We called guest services, and while someone eventually came to inspect the issue, there was no apology or acknowledgement of the inconvenience from the front desk, which made it feel as though situations like this were routine. Between the stained bedding, the leak, and the overall experience, we ended up leaving much earlier than planned. Our goal of having a relaxing few hours before our long flight completely went out the window. It’s disappointing because the hotel made such a great first impression, but the cleanliness, maintenance issues, and lack of empathy from the front desk ultimately overshadowed what could have been a great stay.

Pool is also kid friendly & happy hour was awesome!
-
We loved the pool, the staff, location, everything. It was absolutely perfect. Nothing.

Certain staff seemed to be bothered at the main desk when asked about checking things out, even told my sister no then I asked it was ok. Valet was amazing- had one small issue but was handled well and then perfect from then on out. Outdoor pool was great!!

Perfect hotel for 2 people, may not be the best for families because rooms are quite small. Staff was great, friendly, and super helpful with anything you may need. The food was delicious. Valet parking was definitely worth it because parking in the streets is really difficult. The only thing I would change is the pool close time. It would be nice to come back after a long day out and be able to go into the pool past 10:00pm.
