it was a good stay and i really had a nice experience

We stay here usually twice a year for appts my son has in Nola. We always have a pleasant stay. Honestly, the only issues we had this time were the AC didn't blow cold and the chair was missing from the room desk. Air was cool... not hot but any means, but definitely not the 65° that it was set on and my son just ate in the bed lol Not a deal breaker and we didn't suffer. We will always chose Microtel over others for location, affordability and comfort!

The hotel end was great I used booking.com and they are slow and declined my reservation multiple times while I was standing in the lobby of the hotel and they were saying that they had the rooms, and there system was accepting the reservation, but booking.com was declining it and saying that it was the hotels side and the guy on the phone was unhelpful, rude and asked unprofessional questions, like “ if there was anyone I could borrow money from to pay for the hotel” even though I already paid booking.com the 300 something that it was to book the hotel, and when I tried to get information on when my refund would be sent he said that it should already be received but it wasn’t and when I called my bank they said that they hadn’t received a refund notice.

I love the overall appearance and cleanliness of the hotel and the towels always appear fresh. I tried the breakfast for the first time and I was very disappointed.

Location was great, but that's it. No hot water, dead bug under bed and the worst part of it all is there was a used dried wash cloth hanging on the shower. Meaning the room and bathroom was not fully clean nor was the shower curtain. It is truly unacceptable that people pay for a clean room and bathroom to use and it's not provided. Just DISGUSTING

No hot water, fitness center out of order, elevator out of service, no towels, room not ready at 4pm, room not cleaned every day…but the hotel clerk was nice.
