Delicious healthy breakfast, cozy comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff The water in the shower was not hot enough

The shower water in our room never became warm enough for normal use. We were traveling with our two nine-year-old children, and our daughter was already experiencing cold symptoms and feeling chilled. The most upsetting part was the duty manager’s response. After touching the water herself, she dismissively told us that it felt acceptable to her. Whether it felt acceptable to the manager was irrelevant—the paying guests had clearly explained that it was not warm enough for our family to shower comfortably. She offered no apology and took no ownership of the problem. She told us that the maintenance employee had already gone home and would need about 20 minutes to return, with no assurance that the problem could be repaired. Instead of proactively offering another room, she turned the problem back on us and asked what we wanted to do. Only after this unnecessarily frustrating exchange were we eventually moved to another room. Our family of four had to interrupt our evening, repack everything, and relocate because a basic hotel amenity was not functioning. Even then, the duty manager never gave us a meaningful apology. Equipment can malfunction at any hotel. What made this experience unacceptable was the dismissive attitude, complete lack of empathy, and failure of the person acting as duty manager to handle a basic guest-service problem profess

Great

I specifically requested a king-size bed and was given the option to select the actual room, which I selected and received confirmation for. However, upon arrival, I was informed that the room I had reserved was no longer available. When I went to the assigned room, I found that it had two full-size beds instead of the king-size bed I had requested. Had I known in advance that a king-size bed was not available, I would have chosen to stay with another hotel chain. I am disappointed that the confirmed room selection was not honored and that I was not notified of the change prior to my arrival.

The breakfast and location, the snack area, all the amenities. The parking fees and the bed was sort of hard and worn out.

Laundry service wasn't available

The water in the shower was only lukewarm warm it didn’t get hot.

- Mini-fridge wasn't working (staff replaced it promptly). - Microwave emitted smoke (staff replaced it promptly). - Ice machine wasn't working. And the big one: - The bathroom door got stuck in a locked position and couldn't be opened. My 8-year-old was trapped in the bathroom for about 30 minutes while multiple staff members tried to get the door open with various tools. So, they clearly need to spend more on replacing old appliances and hardware. Otherwise, our stay was good. As mentioned, staff was great. Location was excellent and the breakfast buffet was good.
