Everything was clean and the entire staff was amazing!

Staff was friendly, upgraded us to a better room for free
-
This should be listed as a hostel. It’s an old hotel by the freeway. The rooms are small and grubby.
-
Location close to Galleria and a Target on 1 km distance. Excelent breakfast and great staff. Under renovation amd swimming pool closed.
-
We were initially given the none renovated room and at no point did the staff tell me there was renovated rooms. I had to go ask for one after staying 2 nights of the 4. The breakfast buffet was better during the weekday than weekend.
-
Older property, ongoing renovations were noisy
-

Room 1026 was cute. My favorite was the smart toilet. I love love the sofa and placed by the window. The mobile desk was convenient to work on while sitting on sofa. The sofa chair near the closet was also nice and convenient to put shoes. The shower was relaxing thanks for adding the big shower head. I loved that I could adjust the ac temperature to my comfort. I do wish your investment was on the bed and pillows. The bed wasnt horrible just wanted more comfy and I didn't like pillows. The nose from the highway was bothersome and our room was next to an exit door so when people used that exit the door would slam extreamly loud.

Yes everyone was courteous and kind. The rooms were clean.

Room was mediocre for a Marriott. The king room I pre booked weeks in advance was out so I was downgraded to a double room. Not exactly the most comfortable for a Valentine's weekend. Bathroom has several areas of water damage on the ceiling. Staff was friendly but the accommodation could use some work

The hotel is beautiful and the staff was courteous, however, we encountered a few problems during our stay. When we arrived we were told that there is construction going on in the building. We didn’t think it would be that bad but, it sounded like they were right above our room which made it hard for relaxing when I got off on Saturday afternoon. Also, there is ice machines on every floor, just so happens the ice machine on the floor we were on (6th floor) wasn’t working. We then find out the refrigerator is also not working. So, we call the front desk and request ice and for someone to come and look at the refrigerator. The front desk person said they would send someone to look at the refrigerator but we would have to go to the 5th or the 7th floor to get ice. No one ever came to look at the refrigerator, so later that evening my husband called to speak with the manager who also said she would send someone to look at the refrigerator, she also stated she would have someone bring us ice and she offered free breakfast for the next morning since we hadn’t purchased it. Someone did bring the ice within about 30 minutes, but still no one came to look at the refrigerator. Then the next day housekeeping didn’t show up to clean the room until about 3:45 in the afternoon. By that time, my husband and I had returned from our day out. This was our first time staying at this Marriott hotel, but I must say it was disappointing and I expected more!

Room wasn't cleaned properly. There was still trash on the floor at check-in. Lock on door was broken and hanging

Food was very good. Relaxing bed. Location was perfect for my needs. Elevator didn’t work multiple times tapping w room key. Small bathroom. Tv channels didn’t change or change easily. No ice in ice machine.

She then had me wait approximately 10 minutes for her supervisor, an older female, to come review the issue. I waited an additional 12–15 minutes while they both typed, switched computers, and attempted to resolve the problem, but nothing worked. They then called someone, which appeared to be for show, as the person did not resolve anything. By this point, I had been waiting 15–20 minutes when a family of three arrived to check in. They had booked three nights, paid, and were checked in within less than seven minutes. Ironically, I had also booked three nights, paid in advance, and was still unable to check in. I asked the middle-aged staff member if I could simply rebook the three nights, and she confirmed that rooms were available. However, at no point did she offer or suggest this option herself. Both staff members were dismissive throughout the entire situation. Their behavior made me feel as though they only wanted a specific type of guest staying at the hotel. I am extremely dissatisfied with this level of professionalism. From beginning to end, the entire experience was unprofessional.
