La Quinta Inn Ste Hou Galleria

I was very disappointed, the hotel stay was booked prepaid through a third party the state uses, but the desk clerk still charged me the full amount of the stay on my credit card that was to be for incidentals. I address it moments later since I notice it on my bank account, and he said he was going to reverse the charges. Upon check out 4days later I ask the front desk clerk as I was checking out to make sure they had done that and found out the charges were still charged, Now I am without that amount and have to wait 7 to 10 days to have it place back in my account. Also, when i explained it to the front desk person, she was rude in answering my question in regard to the mistake that should had been corrected since the first day i arrived. I will not be staying here anymore.........

My first room 524 had issues with the AC and the Shower. The AC was barely able to keep the room cold. The water in the shower was barely hot and water pressure was very low. At one point there was not water in the shower. I was moved to room 332 and it had issues with the toilet running but was still much better than my previous room. It is time this property gets an update. It feels run down to me.

Well i requested a handicapped room. The room was at the far end of the hallway from the elevator. There were HC grab bars but not seat in the shower/tub. The shower did not work at all so I had to rinse my hair was to wet a wash cloth. Also, the wall thermostat did not work but the one on the wall unit did. The room was good otherwise. The lady at the front desk was very helpful at checkout. There were no carts to load up my luggage and she sent the maintenance man up with a flat dolly to use to load my luggage. Did not get her name but kudos for assistance. It would be better to offer a HC room close to the elevator and seats or stools in the showers.

The room was dated but fine. Just wish they had served a hot breakfast.

Lodging that's reasonable.

Staff is great, Room was great. Grab and Go breakfast not as good as the Drury's next door. Same with no dinner option and bar option. I did talk with LQ staff and they recognize the difference. Also, LQ hotels are under new management but still rewarding loyalty points through Wyndham. Hopefully, new management will bring back / add some features to entice travelers.
