Sonesta Essential HOU Airport Road

Requires a $100 deposit, but my room was spacious (I booked a king suite), clean, and the staff was attentive. The waffles at breakfast were amazing too! I would definitely go back again!

The place needs lot of attention. Electrical outlets are all loose. Need to bring tape to connect your charger. Pool was not that clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is a joke. Over all, it was not the worst but not the best to spend almost $400 for 2 nights. I don't really recommend it. Save your money and take your time when searching.

Excellent stay, we loved the room and the breakfast

Breakfast was good. There was NO sign that said Sonesta. We went to the wrong hotel and was directed to this one that we keep bypassing. No business cards and the phone number was hard to find. The number starting with 346 is only for booking.

It was a little hidden and no sign

Everything was clean. Staff was professional. Breakfast was great. No complaints. Will definitely stay here again.

What I didn't like was the lack of toothpaste and the inability to use shampoo.

Tub was stopped up upon showering, notified front desk each night I stayed n nothing was done. Also no soap available in the whole hotel?! Staff didn’t seemed to want to help or cared to.

Said they had 8 rooms available, made a reservation, showed up only to be turned away and told to try a different hotel 👎 a solid 0.5/10

Worth to mention the place is not a Sonesta, the building used to be La Quinta inn, pool was closed because it hadn't been clean, elevator make weird noises, carpet on our room was filthy, the AC had a smell, you can tell that there's mold in the rooms, and the receptionist gave the same room to some other folks so when they went up to our room at 2 in the morning! and opened our door we definitely freaked out. I called the front desk and all they said was sorry and that it was a mistake. Which is OK but then we couldn't rest after that.

Roon was clear parking lot was clean with a lot space What I didn’t like is no sign to get in the hotel Ubber get lost we have to walk the the next hotel to get pick up. also the room has a little bit smell Have to buy candles for the. But is good and safe hotel.

Pool was not open and the location is hard to find, also i pay for a double bed room and they told me they was out of double beds so we had to sleep 4 in one bed the first night

Arrived at the hotel and the room with 2 beds that we originally booked was not available (only rooms with 1 bed were available-we were 4 people). Pool was closed even though it was advertised as open. They transferred us to the Sonesta at Hobby which was cockroaches and absolutely no amenities in the room. Pool was dirty. Staff was friendly and said that management would contact us and that we would get a partial refund. No one ever contacted us. When we reached out they said that they would not refund any of the stay. No apologies for the terrible experience. Overall terrible experience.
