Best Western Driftwood Inn

Arrived early (1:30pm) from a long drive. Pulled into an empty parking lot, no one around. Stepped into an empty lobby. Asked desk clerk about a possible early check in. She said our room was ready, but there was a $32 charge for early arrival. I know hoteling is a tough business and you have to look for profits wherever you can, but this was a new low. There are a number of better hotels in Idaho Falls but we stay at the Driftwood for nostalgia reasons - our family has stayed here when in Idaho Falls for decades. No more. Adios Driftwood, it was great while it lasted.

Loved the peaceful river view and easy access to bike/walking trail along the river. Very peaceful.

All the staff were very friendly, and the omelet for breakfast was freshly made by the staff—it was excellent.

I have been coming to this hotel for decades. It is the only place I will stay when visiting Idaho Falls.

Superb

I love the large room with a full kitchen and separate room for my family. Snake River was right in front of us and my husband enjoyed fishing. Beautiful scenery in the city of Idaho Falls.

I'm very sensitive to smells. This hotel is nicer than most of your other high end hotels. We met Holly one of the ladies that cleaned the rooms. She was beyond wonderful and so sweet. It's nice meeting people like that. We will be back on another adventure 😁

The room was clean. We only stayed one night, but everything was nice. Breakfast had an omelet station that we didn't utilize, but looked quite fancy given that this is a motel. Cookies at check in were a big hit with my kids. We didn't get to try the pool out, but it was open and busy. Overall a nice stay at a good price. The walk along the river with the falls was a welcomed stop on a long trip stayover. Well done!

Clean and easy to get into

The stay was great, easy check in and out. Room good size, amenities all there and shower great. Parked the car directly outside the room - great. Location couldn't be better, quiet area. Woken up in morning to the ducks - marvellous, lovely view and walk along river and falls.

Best Western Driftwood Inn met all the criteria that describes a comfortable and memorable stay for our family! We enjoyed the picturesque location, amenities provided, delish food options and the hospitality of the staff!

Clean room, pleasant staff and nice location.

Easy check-in, helpful staff, clean room with a nice handwritten welcome note. Good recommendations on things to do and places to eat. Only stayed one night but would stay again for sure. Excellent location on the river walk and downtown was a short stroll. Can’t go wrong.

Everything was really wonderful. Staff was so friendly and warm. The location across from the river was spectacular. Book with confidence.

Our family loved the location and pool! They had bikes you could take out for a stroll. My son absolutely loved it. They room was clean and comfortable.
