Clarion Inn Idaho Falls Riverfront

The bathroom smelled strongly of urine. The walls were dirty, and the toilet was clogged. In addition, the coffee maker was located inside the bathroom, which I found unsanitary and inappropriate. I contacted the front desk and requested that my room be cleaned because the odor was unbearable. I was assured that housekeeping would take care of it. However, when I returned to the hotel later that afternoon, nothing had been cleaned, and the room remained in the same condition. Additionally, the jacuzzi was not working during my stay. The only positive aspect of my experience was that the common areas were clean, the breakfast area was well maintained, and the breakfast itself was satisfactory. Unfortunately, due to the condition of the room and the lack of response to my concerns, I was very disappointed with my stay. The pictures in the website is not the what you see when you get there. I reserved this property because I had called and asked if the pool and hot tub was working. They said they were. They were " working i guess but no heat and half the flooring was pulled up, windows were disgusting and we had to beg for towels for the pool and the room....the original room i had had flickering lights and exposed outlets.

Room didn’t look anything like the pictures, there was trash inside and the toilet was not clean inside, they charged me $25 extra for early check out because it was available but it wasn’t even ready yet.

Who was the cheapest room in the town? The price reflected the amenities, but it is what it is.

Bed made awful popping sound when you laid down and when you got up

It took a very long time to get hot water in the bath room. The frigerator froze all our drinks, and the breakfast was cold if there was any left.The brought a pan of eggs out and it was cold like it just came out of a fridge. The building was nice looking both in and out and the bed was great.

If you are looking for a cheap, basic room this would work for you. But it is lacking in other areas.

Everything was perfect!

Significant cleanliness issues. Bathroom not clean. Bedspreads show blood stain. Stay away

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone!!!

The location was right next to the falls so it made for a relaxing walk after driving. The staff was helpful and the rooms were clean. overall, perfect for what I needed to get some rest.

Only one ice machine for hole property

Most of the ice machines were not working. The hot tubs heater wasn't working at the time.

Our room was very dirty. The water in the shower would spirt out very cold and very hot water randomly. Only one waffle maker at breakfast for large and hungry crowd. Most of the ice makers were not in service. Coffee maker in room was broken.

Nice place for an overnight stay

Room was not clean. No washcloths. Tried to call front desk, phone did not work. Asked the front desk the next day for washcloths, no one brought any. Floors were not clean in room. Can see where they are painting and trying to update but if your maids don’t do their job cleaning then is pointless.

The staff was amazing and helpful. The room was a poor excuse for a remodel. There was a big hole in the wall, where the pipe comes out for the showerhead. It was moving all over the valve was very hard to turn and rusty not a very good appearance at all the first room the air conditioner didn’t work at all, but I will say the staff more than made up for they were very helpful. Changed my room immediately really helpful. They just need to spend a little bit of money and make it more presentable and so that you do wanna stay there the room had like a musty smell.
