FairBridge Extended Stay – a Kitchenette Hotel

Room and beds were clean. Parking was easy. Love the kitchenette in the rooms

Clean Bike worth $700 was stolen off my car rack. I drove cross country and stayed at several hotels booked through Booking.com and at several National Parks. I was locked out of my room during a police drug bust last night. I did not get back in my room until after midnight and there was no one at the front desk to help. I woke up this morning and my bike was gone! No security camera monitoring parking area. My only recourse at this point is to file a report with Idaho state police.

People all over parking area and haul ways all night. Noisy and fighting all night. I won't stay again.

Stinky, diet hallways, police in v the parking lot

The only thing covering up the old musty smell is that of cigarette smoke. It permeates through the entire building. Very strong in the room. So if you’re sensitive to that smell, this is not your place. There was a plate of old leftover food in bathroom area. That was pretty disgusting. The toilet had a leak, which makes it run all night long unless you turn the water off. And it doesn’t build enough pressure to actually flush the toilet. I mentioned this to the gal at the desk when I left so hopefully they will fix that before renting out the room again. The building itself is not secure. There’s the typical sign outside that says must have room key to enter, but then the entire bolt mechanism that would lock is missing. Would not recommend.

This place was a dump. There are worse. But look around before booking here.

Good

No Housekeeping, had to ask for more towels and manager on duty couldnt help us he didnt have keys to get clean towels. No coffee pot even after requesting it prior to arrival and being told no problem when we asked they didn't even have any available. Hotel had horrible odor of smoke. We purchased an air freshener at Walmart. Didn't stay entire time there due to conditions. Lesson learned Expedia should NOT offer this place in package deals. HORRIBLE!

Bad

Room 277. The shower turns off and on off on. Doesn’t blend hot water. Door latch is is messed up. Hard to open and close. Room has a smell too it. Fridge wasn’t cold at all.

It was all dirty and rundown. People were hanging outside by their cars and around the parking lot. I had the impression that this hotel rents out rooms by the week or months mostly. A lot of rundown old cars in the parking lot. The whole facility just smelled bad to me. We hauled our suitcases in and looked around, they hadn’t even finished cleaning our room yet, toilet paper in the toilet. The bed hadn’t been completely made up yet either. And then again the room just smelled. We just hauled our suitcases back out and left.

Exceptional

Part of this hotel is apparently used as low income housing and that was the wing that I was put in. Most of the amenities listed in the booking were not in the room and there was no TV remote. The staff were very helpful trying to get the room in order but I eventually was moved to the other wing after discovering my room had no curtains other than sheers. Stay here at your own risk.

The check-in clerk was eating his lunch and on his phone for about 15 minutes before he came to the desk to help me. The room was clean but there was no soap, shampoo. Had to go buy my own. The TV and one of the lights didn't work. On checkout I was told I had parked in the wrong parking space. It would be nice if they would either post with signs or communicate to customers. Overall not the best experience with a hotel.

Got to my room there’s no towels, no soap no shampoo. It was after hours and the whole staff was asleep.
