Exceptional

The property is showing its age. doors did not fit, and creaked when opened and closed. Toilet seat was very loose. Electrical outlets were loose in the walls and sent sparks when the GFI was tripped. Cleaning staff uses a great amount of soap, that is not rinsed leaving a sticky feeling on hard surfaces. Staff is great, property is in a very good location and the breakfast is excellent.

Stopped here with our children mainly for the outdoor pool. Rooms were spacious and great for families traveling. Pool was awesome for the family, it was not heated, but was warm and great for swimming during our visit when it was 90 degrees out. The breakfast was AMAZING! Tons of options and very nice.

However, our main problem was the noise and constant sleep interruptions. The walls and floors are super thin, so you can hear every and action from every room around you and above you. Despite having to sign a contract about quiet hours, we were woken up or kept awake by shouting, banging, screaming/partying in hallways, or people literally running football plays in the room above us well after midnight. I both reached out to the number texting about our stay and called down to the front desk the second night. There was no acknowledgement about two majorly disrupted nights or the inconvenience of having zero staff even present or monitoring the buildings we were sleeping in. I wish I could rate this place higher - the room would’ve been perfect for our needs while we exhibited at the State Fair, gave us room to rest after a long day, with a convenient location relative to the fairgrounds. However, the noise issues and strange set-up of this particular facility didn’t meet our expectations and disrupted our weekend.

Breakfast could've been much better.

Staff very helpful and personable. Room was very comfortable. I didn't know ahead of time that there was no elevator, or I would have requested bottom level for the sake of my arthritic knees
-
Everything was great. Rooms were clean and everyone was friendly.

I have been to a lot of hotels and this by far was the best. Each morning was something new and different. A lot of fresh options.

The lobby, breakfast area, and pool were well maintained. The room had a strong mildew odor and was not very clean when we arrived (crumbs on floor, etc.). The bathroom was very worn and in need of being updated. The mold/mildew smell was the biggest concern, especially in the front room of the suite. I asked to be moved o another room but the from desk said the hotel was sold out and it was not possible.

The staff was amazing, very accommodating and helpful.

Passable

Check in did not go well. They gave us a room only to find once we got up to the room, it was not the room type that we booked. We were supposed to have a two bedroom suite, and instead they gave us a one bedroom suite. We called from the room and they said that they had overbooked and there were no two bedrooms available. They did give us an extra room to make up for it. It turned out ok, but the only reason we booked that hotel was because of the two bedroom. We would’ve stayed closer to our event had we known we could not have that room type. The breakfast was pretty good, the rooms were clean, just old. There are no ice machine machines on property, but the front desk gives you a Ziploc of ice if you ask. The property itself could use a remodel. Everyone there was friendly. I wouldn’t book again, but it was ok.

Great location with easy access to the North Central track.

WAAYYY better than we expected. Room was super clean and staff was very helpful. Nice and quiet in a safe part of town. Will stay again for next years Indy race.
-
We found our room quickly , found a great parking spot It was clean beautifully decorated it was full but we could not tell because the walls were made very sound proof

The breakfast is to die for here. The staff is super friendly. You feel like it is your home away from home.

The breakfast was very good. Biggest complaint was room smelled like weed. As soon as we went in and smelled it I asked for a room change. I was told bo because they were full and they wouldn’t have time to clean our room again. We literally walked into our room. We had a baby and allergies. It is a no smoking facility. So no offer to check to see if the people around us were smoking.
