La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Indianapolis Downtown

The staff were friendly and helpful. My room was large, and the location is great for the price. That said, my bathroom had not been cleaned, and it was pretty disappointing (gross) to look in the shower and see a used wash cloth, hairs, and stains in the tub.

Room was clean. Some of the staff was friendly and helpful. A/C worked as it should. Breakfast was less than mediocre.

Room was clean & smelled clean. Comfortable beds & good block out curtains. Felt very safe. AC was great. Breakfast was decent. Definitely stay again. So close to Gainbridge.

Nice view for a one night stay and close to everything downtown

To make matters worse, I had to move four times before settling on a room. Even the final room was far from what I would consider acceptable, but at that point, I was only staying for one night and decided to make do. I do want to give a special shoutout to Oscar, who genuinely cared about making sure I was satisfied. He was attentive, helpful, and clearly tried his best to make a difficult situation better. His customer service was appreciated. The location may be convenient, but convenience alone isn't enough. Cleanliness and basic room conditions need to be a priority. Hopefully, management takes these concerns seriously and invests in bringing this property up to a much better standard.

I liked the location and the size of the room. The breakfast was decent. I was able to turn the TV on and change the channels. But at the end of the night I couldn't turn it off so I unplugged it. Also, there were no cups in the room, the stopper to the bathtub faucet would stick, light rust stains at the bottom of the tub, a container of coconut was in the fridge and I stepped on a crumb on the floor. Also, the elevator would bounce before reaching ground level.

Exceptional

The staff was nice and it worked for a one-night stay. Crumbs underneath the mattress protector and covers. Sink and bathtub were clogged. The place felt dated and overall not clean at all.

Bathtub had mold in the corner. The elevator was so small you barely can fit two people in there then there were little old-fashioned buttons where you didn’t know if it was going up or down.. bed covers are stained. The AC did not work at all the first room smelt like a pack of cigarettes so then they switched me out because they didn’t have any king rooms. There was hair all over the bathroom floor. Also the toilet paper handle was completely broken off. Parking garage is really very small not really safe for your cars to be in the parking lot homeless people sleeping around everywhere. Definitely terrified that my car was gonna get broken and choose wisely. They trick you. It smell really nice in the lobby and look clean, but once you have to go up the elevators to your rooms it definitely look like someone can be human traffic there smh

Checked in and went to our room. Entered the room and noticed that the bar of soap was opened and obviously used. There was no Kleenex and very little toilet paper. We called the front desk to ask whether this room was made up after the previous guests and were told that if the beds were made, then, yes, the room had indeed been made up. We left that representation and went to bed that night. In the morning, we awoke and noticed that in the shower there was a balled-up wash cloth sitting on the shower soap shelf from the previous resident of this room! This was gross and it cemented in our mind that we were given a dirty room (floor was not cleaned),and NOT one that had been cleaned. Very noisy hallways and general condition of motel was dirty. Do NOT stay here -- cannot believe what you are told about the room you get. Hospitality should not be a roll of the dice issue. This time WE got snake eyes. AVOID.

Bad

None of the rooms that we stayed in we got moved four times were clean. The manager told us that their elevator was down so her cleaning staff was probably being lazy promised us 25% off of our stay. We were there for two nights never got the percentage off.

Breakfast was plentiful but the outdoor patio furniture was broken and not useable
