Marriott Indianapolis Downtown

This was a nice hotel. Very pretty and clean. The only thing was my room was on a lower floor with a window view of the dumpsters. Each morning around 5:30, there were many, many garbage trucks backing in and out and for a long time. I recommend the stay, but ask for a room higher up away from the dumpsters if you don’t want to wake up early.

Very close to the Conference that I needed to attend in the Convention Center. No included breakfast buffet. :( Everything was expensive. :( $4.50 + tax for a bottled soda. :( Am I at a Baseball game or Football game??!?

I would have to say that must stay there was kind of frustrating although the issue was resolved. I think that $64 a night for parking is absolutely repulsive and ridiculous. I’ve stayed at nicer hotels in better cities and parking was $20-$30 in the garage $70 a night for valet parking and then they’re asking for a tip yeah absolutely not won’t be staying there again.

The front desk representative was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and quiet. There were several meal options onsite. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Get a pool indoor or outdoor and how about shining the brass in the elevators. Other than that - great stays

Overall the property was very nice and convenient. We stayed for five nights and the room we received was next to the elevator and had no WiFi. After working with both the hotel maintenance and then the technology department by phone, they were unable to fix it and so we were moved to a different room with adequate WiFi. The biggest issue with this hotel is the cost of valet parking. $80/night is NYC pricing. We would understand paying this price if the level of service justified it. Unfortunately, the service was not worth $80/night. We requested our vehicle ahead of time by texting the number provided and the vehicle was never ready. The valets were very nice but admitted that their system was broken.

Staff was great, restaurant was good. There were a lot of healthy choices while staying there. Room was clean and bed was super comfy.
