Red Roof Inn & Suites Indianapolis Airport

Poor sound insulation ruined our sleep. Road noise, voices from adjacent rooms, and footsteps from upstairs were extremely loud and disrupted our stay.

Check in was easy but the hotel lobby had a group of people in it playing pool all night keeping us up, blairing music, and being loud as they put us in a room right off the lobby, staff said they would talk to them but nothing changed. We were then woken up by the staff running a vacuum right outside our room at around 530 6 in the morning. The bed sheets had questionable stains on them and the room lighting was all on motion sensors causing lights to come on randomly at night.

I have stayed here for years and it has always been just ok. I really needed a place to sleep for this same weekend for years and it was always reasonably priced. First night, the elevators were out of order. I was on the 3rd floor with a lot of equipment I had to take to my room via the stairs. My room smelled like sewage. I had no hand soap at my sink. No shampoo in the shower. The door latch was broken off. The internet barely worked. I kept finding long black hairs all over my room and bathroom. My room wasn't touched by any housekeeping during my stay. I had to get out of the shower to go get my own shampoo and got the floor wet. When I wiped up my wet footprints with a towel, the towel was almost black. It was disgusting. I will be looking for a new place to stay next year.

Staff were welcoming and friendly. Property was poorly maintained. Too many dogs !! Elevator stunk like wet dog…

Get there and hotel says I booked a ADA room when on Expedia it showed 1 king standard bed. Hotel then charged me extra. Idk just some shady stuff you’d expect from a red roof lol

Dirty room and the staff were not friendly. Tons of homeless

This property is listed as it has suites. It seemed as it is being used a a extended stay. There were people in and out,running down the halls. Being loud and playing during the late night. This is not a place I would stay again.

Decent room for tge price.

We were charged an extra 20 dollars at check-in for our 17 year old even though when we signed up through Expedia it said he was 17. We really had no other option but not stay again.

For it to be a location with suites I was disappointed that it wasn’t what we expected coming from out of town. We still enjoyed Indianapolis!

We picked this hotel based on the ratings of cleanliness. The rooms 1000% are not what the pictures are! This is a very old outdated place, which is fine, but the cleaning people for real need to learn how to clean! I took pictures of all kinds of things and showed the staff before we left. Example food left all over the microwave from obviously somebody not covering it. Crumbs and bugs on the floor,. Being outdated is one thing, but dirty is not OK. The curtain on the wall was broken so at 6 the bright sun shining into the room was great. We only stayed at this place because we checked the bed and there was no sign of bugs in the bed! I can’t tell you the staff was super friendly and nice.

This property is Uber convenient to the Airport and the Convention Center. It just a bit stale and dated. (Plug on desk lamp needed to be replaced. No auto doors at entry.) Comfortable and quiet it is priced well.

First things, first. I gave Red Roof Inn & Suites Indianapolis Airport a high rating based on what "starred" type of hotel it is. The hotel and rooms were neat and clean; the AC worked well; the beds were comfortable; fridge, TV, and microwave worked; I had a peaceful sleep; and the staff was friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi also worked well and it hotel had easy access to the highway (while not being right on the highway). I'd stay there again without question as it was a short drive to the Indianapolis Convention Center and with the Hotels.com deal, I probably saved about $80 to $100+ a night compared to staying downtown. So, if you're looking for a clean, comfortable place to sleep and save some $$ to spend on other things — this is your place. However, if you want a hotel that offers entertainment (indoor pool, game room, restaurant) you're gonna have to go to a higher star hotel and prepare for your credit card to be hit harder. :)

There is no breakfast which was very odd

It was okay. But I couldn’t stay the whole time I booked it for. It felt dirty and unsafe.

There were blood stains on sheets. Hair in the shower and the peep hole had paper towel stuffed into hole.

The room was great! The staff was friendly.
