Great hotel

Absolutely a great stay here! Would return next time I'm in the area. The property grounds are just beautiful, staff is so friendly and they welcomed my pup like she was their own lol. Clean, spacious rooms, great location and great amenities, too. Recommend!

It was located next to a cute little lake.

We had a refrigerator, the bed was very comfy, very important to us. The bath was nice EXCEPT the floor of the shower was SLIPPPERY!! The soft water was awfully soft. And I'd'd wished for a bathtub, just for soaking and relaxing. Need more grab bars too. We'd asked for a quiet room but were assigned a room at the elevators, and luckily I checked that and changed the room away from thet elevator traffic. We were then assigned a room on the side facing the busy street instead of having a view of the beautiful lake on the other. Yeah, the slippery shower base, was treacherous..

Room smelled like smoke. Toilet seat was broken. Extremely Rusty soap dish in the shower.

The hotel is clean, staff are friendly and the amenities are good. However, the price is too expensive. I stay in Carmel every week for work and I stopped staying here because it’s too expensive in comparison to other hotels that are just as clean and spacious with better location to restaurants and shopping, yet more reasonable room rates.

Water leaked all over the floor because you have half a glass wall. I had to use towels to prevent it going everywhere. Room 218. I probably won’t be staying at this property again.

Very clean, best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had!

Housekeeping was supposed to come in every other day. They did not do so. The first time they did not show up, I went to the front desk, and they had housekeeping come up and tidy the room. After that, they only cleaned the room one other time. I was there for 7 days. Every day but one, I had to ask the front desk for towels and washcloths.

Check in simple even though 1:00 am. Greeted with a friendly counter person, room clean, hotel areas clean, breakfast fresh and plentiful with a nice variety, staff personable and helpful, bar staff very helpful and made us feel very welcome and important.
