Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre Hotel

Parking garage was under construction. Valet one day quite expensive. Offered other locations which were not in immediate area and did not offer not overnight accommodations for parking. Hotel as a whole needs major upgrades simply behind the times of modern amenities.

Smaller room alittle dated but clean and outdoor pool was a nice addition. Good coffee, nice staff overall good place

Amazing stay in a very clean well kept property, staff was amazing and they met all our expectations. Very close to everything we wanted to go to within the city.

The 19th floor decor needs updating. The room toilet was odd place . Just needs upgrading but overall clean and great location . Very friendly staff!!

AWFUL

Property was clean and beds were very comfortable!! Unfortunately we booked a king sized bed with a city view, and got a 2 full beds with a city view. Additionally after getting back to hotel after a concert, staff said the restaurant would be open till 1am. We got in and self seated, like sign said, and no staff greeted us or took our order. We were walked by multiple times with no greeting or anything.

I spent Labor Day weekend here with my 2 kids. We were able to check in early and the staff was so nice! Valet is available because the parking garage is under construction. As long as you request your car via text a few minutes before you leave, you won’t have too long of a wait. I read the other reviews and knew it wasn’t going to be the most updated property, but I decided to stay anyway because of the roof top pool. The pool was great. Towels are available and you’re able to have food delivered to you at the pool. The food was below average, but decent for a quick snack. Now back to the property. The lobby looks great. I stayed in the 20th floor and upon walking out of the elevator you can see the dirt on the walls and doors. I was shocked honestly. Our shower drained slow and the side of the mirror was broken. Our AC would only work on high. It just wasn’t a place I would stay again. I decided to cut our trip short because I refused the stay their one more night. The roof top pool is definitely a selling feature for the summer, but that’s it.

Old building. Old showers that didn’t work as they should. Sink was dripping all night. The toilet - I’ve never seen one under a sink before. Front desk staff was nice. Valet needs to smile.

The pool was great! Lots of seating, spread out so you weren’t on top or each other, room service to your lounge chairs, loved it! The hotel was much older and run down than any other Sheraton I have stayed in. The phone in our room didn’t work, we only had 1 bath towel in the bathroom for the 2 of us, I had to call down on my cell phone to the front desk to get towels sent up. Thankfully I found a phone number that got me directly to a person and I requested towels and reported the broken phone. The valet process was kind of a joke. We were told we would he getting a text message from valet allowing us to request our car when we wanted it. I never got a text message. I called down to the front desk, on my cell phone because the room phone wasn’t working, and the woman at the front desk was quite short with me and said she would get our car pulled around. When we got downstairs 10 minutes later, no car. I went to the front desk and asked about our car and she said that she called our room but no one answered. I explained to her that our room phone wasn’t working and that I had already reported that to the front desk. She was short with me and asked what kind of car we had so that valet could pull it around. Rather than subtly letting the valet know what car we drove, she yelled across the lobby at the valet and told him the type of car we drove. She also yelled to him that I didn’t receive a text message and that I needed one to set up payment. The valet confirmed my phone number out loud to the entire lobby and then went to retrieve our car. After receiving the text message, the woman at the front desk told me that I needed to follow the link and enter “BTR”. I tried following the prompts through the link on my phone and got to the part where it wanted my credit card info and again she said “put BTR” as if I was supposed to know what that meant. I asked her why and where I was supposed to do that and she started pressing things on my phone screen to get me to a screen where I could enter a payment code.

Staff members I encountered were very nice and most helpful.

The security of using my room card in the elevator. None of the emails I received said the parking garage was closed and we had to pay an additional $55 for valet. The I don’t care attitude of the staff was unacceptable. I had a budget and that was not factored in. Asked about transition the city and the staff was clueless. For $400 a night I expected more.

The location and the pool are a huge draw!
