The workout room and the location were good. Had to change rooms three times during the 4 night stay because the coolest the first 3 rooms got were around 74 degrees. The electronic card keys stopped working and had to be reset three times. The bathroom shower drained super slow.

Helpful and professional staff No microwave, fridge etc

The Columbia was good!

No fridge

The staff was exceptionally nice and professional. The Club itself is beautiful and the rooms, while definitely older, are well maintained. The AC was not perfect but the windows opened enough to let cool air in. It was difficult to maintain a constant temperature while showering.
-
The history and historic aspects. Conveniently located. No AC. Our room was 78 degrees with no air Flow. We called twice to have it fixed. Went to a concert. Came back and still 78.
-
No AC in room, beds very small and uncomfortable, shower dirty.

The shower was plugged so we could not shower.

the hotel is gorgeous; enjoyed the fact that it wasn't too crowded with all the events going on in the city. The restaurants were convenient and had great service. The rooms are outdated and small. However the overall building and lobby area are gorgeous.

Beds were terrible and stains all over carpets. Everything very outdated such as furnishings and chair at desk was broken. Valet did not help with luggage.

Lots of cool Things inside building We couldn’t control the air , phone didn’t work to call for help with luggage to get a cart . Bed was not comfy but most of all . We had to pack our luggage up a flight of stairs . I have had back Surgery . Took us walking down a back alley . Very ridiculous . Was not happy . Front entrance was not in working mode . ?

The location is wonderful. We had a great view. The building itself is in great shape to be as old as it is. Check in was supposed to be at 3pm, our room was not ready until after 4 pm. Once we got to the room, the beds were smaller than expected, the walls are super thin, the air unit was not working as it should have, the bathroom door would not stay shut. One of the elevators was down. We used the valet service and had to enter the building through an alley and through the staff back door due to an event in the square.
-
Parking situation was absolutely horrible. The round about was blocked and was unable to access the hotel.
-
The bed was the most uncomfortable bes I’ve slept in.
-
Location was perfect for our trip. Within one mile of the event location. The walk was easy There was no conditioner in the shower.
-
Beautiful old architecture. Good location, easy to get to. Staff was friendly and helpful.

My wife and I were in town for the Final Four weekend. We booked far enough in advance to get a decent rate. The building is right on the circle and an easy walk to Lucas Oil. Aesthetically, it is a beautiful building with old school club charm. Lots of marble and dark wood. The walls are also concrete. So our room was very quiet, despite facing the fountain. Our room had a king sized bed with an armoire and small desk and chair. No mini fridge. It was spacious. The lobby bar is excellent. We didn’t try the restaurants. There was no temperature control. When we arrived, it was 50 and rainy. The room temperature was about 78. We dropped our bags, turned the thermostat down and went to the games. When we came back about 7 hours later around midnight, the room temperature was 84. This was Easter at midnight, so I wasn’t expecting miracles. The staff brought up a fan. The next morning, I talked to the front desk manager and he spoke with engineering. We had a portable room air conditioner by lunch time. Worked perfectly.

Location and beauty of the place Room was very small

The main floor on the hotel was beautiful! Our room had no air flow - ac would not work nor the heat. It was very hot in our room all night which made for a restless night. Also, the shower in the bathroom would not hold the water in the shower and flowed all over the bathroom making it very dangerous trying to get out of the shower.
