Shower was fine, however a grip shower mat and better ventilation would make the shower significantly better. Breakfast was a huge disappointment. Bagels, toast, cold cereal (out of milk), 1 waffle maker and coffee. Minimum effort for such a large hotel. Overall it served its purpose and was clean.

Large room, dirty floors, bathroom was horrible, took 5 minutes to get the tub water to work without the knob falling off. Indoor pool, very loud late. I would rather sleept in the car.

Positive was, huge bathtub. Thats it. Dirty, disgusting, improper bedding. Hair in the bathroom everywhere. Wrong room. Pictures don’t match what’s online at all! No trash can. You didn’t know if you were walking into a restaurant or a hotel.

The restaurant on the property is nice. Staff there are kind! The price and waterfront view were really the only other positives I can think of. My sheets seemed dirty- there were weird crumbs and hairs on them. I slept above the bedding because it freaked me out. Same for the rooms; when you start to look around, you notice lots of dirty corners with hairs and dust, cobwebs, rusty bathroom appliances. Fingerprints all over the lamp shade handles. It felt dingy and dirty. Like they put modern furniture in without fixing up the actual rooms. Or like they just made the beds and replaced the lotions and coffee stuff, and that was it. The phone was completely unplugged, just sitting there, so there is no way to contact the front desk without going all the way down yourself. Which is a maze alone to get back to. The new furniture is also very uncomfortable. The beds are hard as rocks. The pool is not nearly as clean as their photos depict (go figure). It was murky and cloudy, you could not see straight through. Many of the other guests around us were up very late and very loud- which made it hard to fall asleep. Nothing seemed to be done about that, and I know we weren’t the only ones to hear it. Not being able to contact front desk for that was very frustrating. I’m all for a good price, but this genuinely was not worth it. I would’ve paid more for a little nicer- which just means clean for me.

Honestly, my bad for not reading the reviews before I booked. The building is very old, smells like mold. The hotel was very dirty. Every place I went had food crumbs and was sticky, around the lobby couches and table, and where they served breakfast clear up into the evening it hadn’t been cleaned. I had to ask for a table to be wiped down. Our room was also dirty, dust and previous tenants hair everywhere. The bathtub had been painted at some point and was peeling, it also had draining issues. It’s bad when you have to wear pool shoes to take a shower. The outside of the toilet was also dirty with possible feces. Also, no cleaning services all 4 days. I had to take out my own trash, and ask the front desk for toilet paper. I will never stay there again.

I like the hot tub but the pool needed clean out more

Outside grounds were covered with trash, multiple broken down vehicles one with a flat tire. Inside the carpet in the hallways look like it hadn’t been vacuumed in months under the stairwells was used for storage of old chairs and tables and a box for a barbecue. Elevator on the second floor set out of order, but on the first floor had no out of order sign I got stuck in the elevator. found a silverfish (bug) in our bed. On-site restaurant/bar was loud and obnoxious. Guess that utilize the indoor pool or loud until about midnight. Our room looks like it was a crappy remodel job. You can tell where they patched holes and recently painted no outlet on one side of the bed for that guest to be able to charge their phone or devices. Air conditioner was subpar.

Staff and location were good. Everything smelled if something. The hallway ramp from the lobby to the room smelled of urine. The pool area smelled like old musty chlorine. Our room smelled like mold, urine, chlorine and something. We went to Kroger to by air fresheners for the room.showers are GROSS with peeling paint, mildew (I hope not worse), nasty stuff in the drain, the faucet works backwards. The sink needs a new faucet and an overall SCRUBBING. THE a/C is old and noisy. Doors don't fully close except the exterior room entry door and even then you have to pull it. Old outlets. Old furniture. Thread bare sheets. Old bed that is pilling from too much use. Just BAD. Booking pictures of rooms don't match actual rooms. We had three groups in three rooms, including a suite, and nobody was happy. Pool area isn't great and has limited hours.

Indoor pool Our first room there was so much moisture that it came up in the cracks in the floor. There was Noone watching over the breakfast area so they ran out of plates and milk. And my friend found bed bugs in their room. We will never stay here again. The restaurant and indoor pool were the only good parts.

This place deserves more than two stars, I've stayed in some brutal places and this doesnt even touch it. Our room was clean, sheets were clean, VERY spacious. Since we were there for GenCon the large table was very awesome as a gaming space. The pool and hot tub was very awesome, and I wish that I was able to take advantage of the fitness room (with PLATES, not just machines, big win for me). My only complaint was there wasnt any hooks on the walls or doors to hang things like my robe or bathing suit, and no rod in the closet. One more garbage can would have been nice because we tend to keep our space tidy over 4 days but its hard without a second trash receptacle. Other than that, we had a quiet space to hook up our game console, and a nice bed to sleep in. Woke up feeling refreshed every day, and even played a little ping pong! Also theyre big on supporting their local business, and gave us a 5 dollar coupon to use at the bar & grill, which has very awesome food! Beautiful scene to hang out with friends by the lake with a beer and take in the peaceful sight! I would absolutely recommend this and book it again for next year!

Room was clean and functional. Beds were comfortable. A/C worked well and easily kept the room cooled. Our girls enjoyed the pool and it was convenient to step out of our door and it be right there. We were in town for a cheer comp and were happy with the room size and areas that gave ample space and room do hair and makeup.

The pool and hot tub we’re enjoyable, there wasn’t many people using it but it was at a good temperaturex The staff here came off as passive aggressive and not as friendly as I expected. They requested a 100 dollar refundable deposit in case of room damages but never notified anyone if it’s been processed or if they distributed a refund. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. I feel scammed. Lastly the rooms were not very clean, the water was probably the worst part with there being black stuff flowing out of it. The sheets and blankets were also dirty.
