Travelodge by Wyndham Indianapolis Speedway

We had stayed here once before about 2 years ago so I was very iffy about staying again. While they have made some good improvements, overall it's still lacking a lot. Our bathroom door would not shut properly. We booked 2 rooms, so that we would have 4 beds ended up with only 3 beds because they didn't reserve rooms next to each other. The breakfast leaves a lot left to desire. Simple waffles, cereal, toast and muffins. While it is cheap, I wish I would've spent just a little more for a better stay. The rooms had a musky smell that just didn't go away. The best part was the indoor pool, as we were worried about it storming all weekend. There was also a festival going on outside of the hotel and it was very loud late into the night. Probably won't be giving this place another chance.

Pool

My stay was good. The initial room I was assigned was not up to par at all. Paint chipping and the sheets had a couple stains on them. Not the room I thought I booked at all. I went to the front desk and they were able to upgrade my room for the rest of my stay, which was very satisfactory. The staff was really helpful. The pool and hot tub needs to be cleaned but overall we enjoyed our stay. The lake was beautiful

Our room was awful. First off, gave us a smoking room, dirty floor, stained sheets, bath towels were pool towels, no wash cloths, hair ball in the shower drain, huge hair ball on the floor by the toilet. Had it not been in a late check in, we would have left and drove home.

It was a cheap place to lay your head. That’s about as good as it gets. Girl at front desk was very friendly, l give her that. Hallways & stairs hadn’t been vacuumed in a while. Rodent traps and cigarette butts littered the outdoor areas. Keycard security at entry doors were non-existent. Lots of unsavory looking cars in the parking lot. Elevator didn’t work one day. Icemakers weren’t working. The plaster on the bathroom ceiling had fallen on the toilet & floor(we had to clean it up). Only 2 towels in the bathroom (no face cloths or hand towels), hallways smelled a mix of curry & perfume. Pillow cases & sheets didn’t look clean and fresh. The “free continental breakfast” looked nothing more than a few slices of toast and some cereal. The access road to the hotel is dilapidated, with weeds , potholes, and overgrowth. At least the AC worked good, as was 95° the two days we were there!

Place was a mess

NOTHING Soon as you walk in horrible smell, horrible rooms with stains all over the sheets and bed. Was stuck in the elevator for 10 minutes and when I called the desk they answered but never helped. I got there and left within 30 minutes worst hotel

Nothing, we did not even stay. We walked in, and roaches were every where in this room. The bugs, the smell, my gosh!!!! Why would you even have this property on your site!!

Excellent location when traveling from Madison, WI to Georgia. Very nice young desk clerk. Very comfortable bed. Nice to have an indoor pool. Serve yourself breakfast.

The location was safe and the lobby looked cool. There was an awful smell in the room and it was very dirty.

If you want to make bad decisions on where to stay, this is the one for you! I can’t find one decent thing to say about it. Exiting the parking lot was the highlight of our 1 regretful night stay.

The continental breakfast was a waffle maker, bread for toast, coffee, plain bagels and cereal. The bar staff ignored us for 10 minutes and we decided to eat elsewhere. I do not recommend this establishment.

Was second guessing staying after reading other reviews but it was a nice stay!

They need to vacuum hall carpet.

The room was clean and updated. The lobby was spotless. The staff was super helpful. Will stay again.

Nothing The entire property is disgusting. Our mattress and comforter were stained, crumbs in the bed, trash in the rooms. The pull out couch was covered in stains and the mattress was just metal coils and fabric, also covered in urine. The shower was covered in mold.

The amenities looked nothing like the pictures. The hot tub was green. There was trash outside of our door. The entire time we had to also switch rooms because the first room we got was very musty and dirty. I highly do not recommend this hotel. We were not a fan of anything again. It was very dirty and it definitely didn’t live up to the pictures on booking.com.
