Reviews

The hotel is just ok. It was clean, but rooms are very small.
-
Everything about it was easy and comfortable. I'd definitely stay here for longer than the day that we were there for.

Everyone was wonderful and we were able to check in early. Parking is alittle tight but $30 wasn't a bad price range, they do open it to the public for $50 or $55 so if your going for an event I would advise to go early to secure a spot. All and all was a great stay!

The continental breakfast was just okay. There was the usual fruit, dry cereals, pancake machine, scrambled eggs, and some kind of Polish sausage, but I wish there had been bacon, regular sausage, and biscuits and gravy. Again, everything was okay, The walk to Gainbridge Stadium wasn't bad (maybe 12 minutes); Lucas Stadium is maybe a 3-minute walk. If I were going to be staying in the area longer, I would look to find something with a better view and closer to coffee shops and restaurants, but if the cost or reviews are not in line with this Tru Hotel then I'd be just fine staying here again.

I'm a 5' 4" tall woman. The shower head is at a reach that puts my back and slippery toes in danger if I want to attempt to change the shower water rhythm. But also...because it's so high, I'm dancing between the streams to find that perfect pressure to massage my head and fully rinse off my shampoo. The beds! Sweet holy call-my-chirpractor-stat batman... they were so incredibly stiff! I could barely sleep...tossing, turning, trying desperately for a comfortable position. And finally the next morning when my oh-so-sore muscles needed relief, I'm hit with the water pressure of a drizzling water hose. See above shower head reference. Ya'all...look...the place was great except these two extremely critical and foundational elements to a perfect night's stay. Consider yourselves warned.

Very nice property. Parking gets full so if you come back late you may not have a spot.
-
Front staff very friendly and welcoming

Overall our experience was fine.

The rooms were very clean

Great place to stay downtown Indy! Close to Lucas.
-
Overall, it was a great stay. The breakfast was pretty good and they have quality coffee all day.
-
There was no coffee maker or microwave.
-
If you are going to a football game at Lucas Oil then this is the place for you. Great staff, good amenities, and clean comfortable room. Close to downtown and the canal is easy walking distance.
-
Staff was nice and helpful, room was clean and good but the AC machine was monstrously loud even when ostensibly off and they could not do anything about it. They gave us some market items to compensate but in honesty I could not recommend it.

The hotel was decent. Everything was neat for the most part. The duvet on my bed had makeup on it when we arrived. The beds were also hard. Other than that the stay was okay.
-
The beds were hard & the breakfast options seemed strange.
-
Nice staff, SUPER clean, had a parking garage which was convenient and nice breakfast. The property was great. The one way streets around the property made the logistics getting there a challenge. (Kept missing the turn!)

I find Tru by Hilton to be a excellent Tech hotel. Very modern with modern amenities. It is what I call a boutique hotel - small rooms, no closets or drawers, but table/desk you can move around for your electronic devices, convenient easy to reach plugs, etc. The lobby/cafe area is all in one, excellent and helpful staff. Hot breakfast is provided every morning. I would stay there again.
