DoubleTree by Hilton Dallas - DFW Airport North

Staff were amazing. We had no problems. Everyone was extremely friendly. Location was centrally located for all the areas we needed.

Room clean although a little dated. Restaurant not open. Staff was helpful and quick. Airport shuttle clean and on time.

The bedroom should be cleansed, which did not happen throughout my stay.

Swimming pool area needs maintenance

The hotel is a little outdated but it’s clean and the staff is cordial!

I ordered 2 queen beds but was given a king and told they were sold out of double rooms. I had the reservation for several weeks prior. The hotel room smelled musty and the paint/wallpaper in the bathroom was aging with watermarks. I skimmed the pool myself before going in. We reluctantly stayed the night before an early flight but I would not stay here again.

The elevator was quite far from the rooms, and my key didn't work on the side entrance. I usually love DoubleTree hotels and always stay with them, but this particular location at DFW wasn't very impressive. The AC control unit was outdated with no real controls, and the front desk wasn't very welcoming either. This was the only DoubleTree that didn't meet my expectations.

Airport shuttle 24/7 was very convenient from DFW. Staff gave very clear instructions on how where to meet shuttle when we called upon landing. Thank you so much!

Hotel is close to everything. Easy to navigate to “touristic” parts of city. Also close to the airport. Pool is okay just needs a bit more care (leaves in pool from surrounding trees). Towels not always there. Just 1 seating area with an umbrella if you don’t take it you’ll be stuck under sun at all times. No music. No lifeguard. Staff was great, except for person who checked us in. Check in is at 3pm, but told us to wait almost an hour claiming room is not ready in a “take it or leave it” attitude, no sense of empathy. When asked how long do we have to wait her response was “I don’t know maybe minutes maybe hours”. Didn’t greet us properly, saw guests being greeted with smiles and cookies the next day from other staff. Didn’t tell us anything about the hotel services (breakfast being included, shuttle to airport, gave us one keycard for room and didn’t tell us how to get to the room, etc). Maybe she was having a bad day? Other than that experience everything else was fine.

This a old property and not at all maintained well.

Spotlessly clean and excellently maintained.

We checked in extremely late. I'd have to leave very early, but we have the best sleep. The room was clean. Everything was available that we needed and we can't wait to come back and stay for more than just one night

The property is old, 1970’s Old. When we arrived the receptionist was cold and not friendly. The bathroom in the room, shower was very, very hard to turn in and the TV had no signal. The 7th floor hallway smells old as well. The only 2 positives were the bed and air conditioner. Disappointing for a Hilton branded hotel.

Air conditioner noise is very loud and not working well.

Great place to stay. Clean convenient to the airport.

If the shuttle is better, I had to take my own transportation it was significantly delayed otherwise morning staff were good the hotel is well maintained and breakfast choices are amazing
