Great place near the downtown. Good and helpful staff. Nice and clean hotel and rooms

Ice machine on 5th floor was inoperative. There was a ceiling leak with a bucket catching water from the damaged celling in the lobby. Staff were polite and professional. The breakfast was a well appreciated amenity and the food service staff were outstanding with their cheerful morning greetings. The food service serving area was kept clean and well stocked. Very efficient and well managed operation.

I had a room or 3 nights. The room was never cleaned a single time. I will not stay at another hotel like this again.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. Miss Tina that takes care of the breakfast was so sweet and was a bright smile to start the day.

There was a concert in town when we stayed. There was a lobby of people waiting for their rooms to be ready. We had two rooms. One was ready at 4 be the other was ready by 5 pm. When we got to our first room the key wouldn't work. We went downstairs to get the key reprogrammed and still wouldn't work. I pulled on the door knob and a lady yelled someone is in here. When she answered the door she said she was wondering why my name and honors member number was up on the screen and it wasn't her information. Then one of our rooms didn't have conditioner or shower gel in the shower and the other room didn't have shampoo. They were completely empty. There was also something not identifiable sticking out of the shower drain and mildew around the sink. It appeared they were very understaffed and they were struggling emotionally as several staff members seemed frazzled and short when interacting with guests. They didn't have enough food made for the amount of guests for breakfast and 20 minutes after we were told food would be out in a minute they brought out biscuits but no sausage gravy. They were out of coffee creamer. They obviously were ill prepared for the amount of guests they were receiving this weekend or had a lot of callouts and weren't well enough staffed.

I didn't get the gentleman's name that I spoke to this morning but he was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very good and the staff was great. Nice hotel very comfortable beds and it was nice to have a television that welcomed me with my name. I enjoyed my stay for the one night I was there. Thank you Hampton Inn Jacksonville

I was staying here with my 77 year old mother, on the very top floor. Our toilet broke, and was unusable very early in the morning of our last day…probably nothing a plunger couldn’t fix. The toilet only had a small amount of urine and TP when it clogged. I called the front desk, and there was nobody on the premises to fix it. We waited and waited, my mother having to run to the first floor to pee. A VERY UNDIGNIFIED SITUATION FOR AN OLDER LADY! I did go to the front desk to complain as nobody had shown up to resolve the problem yet…the sign at the front desk said “ not 100% satisfied? We will help you until you are happy” well, no. All the front lady said was “sorry” no discount or coupon or assistance AT ALL. DON’T STAY HERE!

Great location to walkable areas around town and great local restaurants. The staff is one of most hard working group I’ve ever seen to help us and other guests feel the most comfortable. It was a great experience.
