Terrible changed rooms twice hi humidity low cooling

It was central to the city. The breakfast was pretty good for a continental breakfast. The beds were fairly comfortable and checking in and out was an easy process. Overall our stay was okay and not an unpleasant one. There seemed to be a lot of things that weren’t working properly. They only gave us one rag for the whole room that was booked with 5 people. There were a couple of bugs in our room. There were water spots everywhere on the tiles and ceilings in the main room.

The biggest issue was the noise - the doors don’t have soft close and the noise dampening is not enough. Starting at 5am there was significant noise from upstairs (luggage and carts rolling over tile), and noise from the hallway (doors slamming).

When we walked up to check in, there was a guest being assisted in front of us. Rather than receiving a professional, polite welcome, the woman at the front desk blurted out, "Hold on, let me finish helping him." Not a "Welcome," not a "We’ll be right with you" just complete rudeness right out of the gate. Room 1: Filthy, Unmade, and Unsanitary We got checked in and went up to our room. Like I do at every single hotel I stay at, I immediately pulled out my disinfectant spray to sanitize the surfaces. That’s when the nightmare truly began: The Refrigerator: I opened the mini-fridge and almost vomited on the spot. It was beyond filthy, covered in grime and gross buildup. The Beds: The beds were completely unmade and covered in hair. It looked like someone had just rolled out of them and management didn't even bother to send housekeeping in. My husband actually started trying to clean out the fridge himself, but I said ABSOLUTELY NOT. We are paying customers celebrating our daughter’s special day we should not be sanitizing hotel biohazards! YES, I TOOK PICTURES FOR PROOF OF EVERYTHING. I went right back downstairs to show the front desk clerk. She gave a half-hearted, "I'm sorry about that," but then immediately proceeded to tell me about her children. NOO

There were dead cockroaches on the third floor landing near the ice machine. Our bed linens had holes.

The place smells like mold. The breakfast is gross!!

Location Pool hours

Bed had sandy substance. Had to move to another room. Hairdryer didn't work. Carpet was old, worn and stained. Elevator rail support broken. Children running in room above us at midnight. Room service minimal. Left some towels, didn't take any trash. Staff was very nice and tried to help when prompted. Pillows were terrible. Bathroom very cramped large gap around door let in light all night. Poor safety latch/door stop. Just overall disappointing.

Toilet had a leak floor always covered in water. Children running up and down hallway at midnight screaming. Sketchy people coming and going or hanging out in the parking lot. Doesn’t appear to be a safe place to stay. I wouldn’t recommend staying at this property
