Clean room. Close to downtown. Staff was friendly and helpful, didn’t use any of the amenities.

Was not impressed. Lobby had a bad smell at check in. There was a floor drying fan as soon as we step off the elevator. There was a significant amount of dirt on the floor in our bathroom. Breakfast area was having issues with their ac and it was too hot in there eat.

The attendants at the front were very friendly and attentive.

The breakfast was hot and very good and the woman who works it was super nice. And alot of room to sit and eat. Beds were not comfortable felt like u were sleeping on the metal they definitely need new beds. The pool looked super dirty and the cleaners for rooms would not move over so you could pass by which was horrible. They had a water leak the second morning so you could not get juice but they definitely made sure there was apple juice cartons and milk out for everyone. They are remodeling and they were working in a room 2 doors down and all day it sounded like the dude was using a jack hammer and would go all day and they started I believe was 8am and was all day when your trying to relax but wish we were told they would be in rooms doing work I would have made other arrangements especially for the price of the rooms. But it does look great in the hotel.

Check in was quick asked to be put somewhere quiet as possible and was accomadated. Asked for extra blanket and desk person could not find one but offered me a couple extra sheets. Room was very clean as well as the bathroom. Bed was very comfortable, overall a great stay. Would stay again. There was construction but it did not interfere with my stay

I picked Hampton Inn because of the service and clean rooms. I was disappointed there was no great hot breakfast and coffee.

Attempted to check-in at 2:50 PM. Informed no rooms were ready. Came back at approximately 9:00 PM and learned there was no water. Kyle Thomas at the desk was helpful in cancelling my reservation and hopefully crediting my credit card account.

Staff was great and helpful. We didn’t hear noises from other guests in the hallway while we were trying to sleep. The bed mattress was awful! Really need to be upgraded. Many people like to sleep on a firm mattress. The shower was nice and big but no shelves to put personal items wanted and needed for a shower.

I would expect the extent of these conditions at a Motel 6, EconoLodge, or Super 8 for a third of the price, but Hampton Inn is usually a middle of the road chain and we paid $175/night for this dump. I expected somewhat higher standards. The problems: tv did not work. window blind did not work. furniture surfaces and lamps dusty. coffee maker filthy. no trash bags in trash cans. large crack in bedside desktop. we checked in late, so no one to really fix anything. The next morning we got a cheap breakfast in a bag, instead of the promised breakfast bar. no lobby coffee makers offered, told to use the filthy room coffee maker. we asked the front desk to have maintenance to fix the broken tv and have housekeeping vacuum, dust, empty trash, and supply fresh towels. when we returned that night - NOTHING HAD BEEN DONE. no room service and still a broken tv. the night desk person did move us to a different room, but that room also had fithy coffee maker, dusty surfaces, and a broken towel hanger in bathroom. but at least the tv worked. The room experience was bad, but what was worse was the lack of concern on the part of the property manager. He apologized and promised to refund our stay, because their goal "is to have satisfied customers", but once we left the property, his promises never materialized and all communication was ignored. I imagine this attitude is why the housekeeping staff and maintenance are not doing their jobs...no one cares. The property itself is not terrible, and could be vastly improved quickly with some interested employees and competent management.

Location It was under construction and wasn’t told about it, so was unable to use the workout room.

There was no hot breakfast for the 2 days we were there. Just cold stuff. Staff did the best they could under the circumstances.
