Friendly staff Most uncomfortable bed I’ve slept on in years. Could sleep at all! Rock hard. Wtf?
-
Great location. The bar wasn’t open very long.

Everything was walkable distance There was a mouse in my bathroom:(
-
Everything!!!! It was such a wonderful stay I have no complaints

I really liked the property’s location. It was super convenient and made it easy to get around. The breakfast was also really good and a great start to our day. The floor felt sticky and uncomfortable to walk on, and the pull-out bed felt damp. We also found some bugs on one of the beds, which was concerning.
-
It was close to UMKC campus The room wasn’t cleaned when we arrived.
-
Everything was in good walking distance $50 for parking? Feel like that should be included. And when I made the reservation it “included” breakfast. But then they proceeded to charge me $15 when I got it. Very money hungry.
-
My room was very clean. Very disappointed that there isn't a free breakfast, considering the price of the room. Not sure I will stay here again.

They are scammers. They charged 60 dollars to the credit card that I left for incidentals 3 weeks after my stay, and they cannot justify the charge (they say that the are not incidental charges)

Close to hospital. They charged my credit for same nigh. After I had already paid for it through Booking. Then guy at front desk would hang up on me when I would call to talk to manager about the over billed. Then the couple times he put me through of course manger was out and get answer machine. Left several messages on situation and was never called back. So I paid double for a room that I stayed one night in. As nice as hotel was I WON'T stay there again.

Property is really in need of updating.

The Beds. The staff at night was awesome Parking, the price we paid was not worth the situation.
-
Location was excellent, facilities were clean and nice Breakfast was included in our room but it was literally a bagel and coffee at the bar. Not breakfast.

We liked the historic hotel. However, they don’t really have an actual restaurant or coffee shop. They have a bar area with 2 coffee canisters and a Starbucks sign above them. They apparently take orders at the bar for food and there are a couple of tables, but we weren’t able to place an order on Thanksgiving for breakfast because no one was around. Some of the staff were rude and answered questions with an I don’t know and didn’t seem to care either. The cleaning staff were very nice!! They also had grab bars in our bathroom. Most of the property has steps, but there is a ramp in back. There are also two elevators.
