    This property told me to check out and I would get refunded and they’ve held onto the money this whole time. I’ve been calling for months to get the refund and the manager can’t be bothered. He told me he’s get it done in two days and told me to call the day of my grandmothers funeral and still couldn’t be bothered to answer. All I need is for them to literally refund the card and state they are doing the refund for the unused days and then booking can issue my refund but the manager is refusing to spend the 5 minutes doing it. They won’t even answer my calls. The front desk woman has been trying to help me get in touch with the manager but he won’t give us the time of day. So now they stole $327.04 and won’t give it back even though I have in writing by the property it was okay and they would issue the refund.     The location is great for those going to Worlds of Fun. Bed was ok. Easy access from/to highway. Continental Breakfast was not great. Room was very cold the first night and the comforter was not sufficient for it. I had to adjust it for second night and or was fine then.

    Location was convenient with well lit parking. Rooms were decently clean. No blankets on beds just 2 very thin sheets, complimentary breakfast was just muffins and coffee.

    Paid for a king size room and was stuck with a queen. No towels, only one blanket soni asked if they had an extra and they replied no. Verh poor experience 5/4/26 and this wasnt better. Would not recommend at all! Poor attitude and atmosphere.

    To begin with our non smoking room smelled like smoke. Then the floors felt dirty and to end with, after laying down on the bed for 30mins, there was a TICK stuck to my body. I’ve notified the front desk and the manager has not been responsive or acknowledge my complaint. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

    This property looks WAY nicer in pictures than it actually is. Did not feel safe and constantly checked on the vehicle to make sure it was safe. Had sketchy people all around and on the property. People just laying on the steps to walk to your room. Would NEVER stay here again. GROSS!!! Did not get quality rest, staff was rude, door key disabled mid day through our stay. Parking lot was full of holes, waited at the front desk for 15 mins before anyone showed up to check us in. Unable to get extra towels, pillows or blankets because the front desk “didn’t know the access code”.

    When I called the front desk for assistance, I was told that maintenance would come when they were available. I waited more than two hours, and no one arrived. Eventually, I found a housekeeper in the hallway, who contacted the maintenance technician directly. He finally came to inspect the door and explained that it had become stuck because of the paint that had been used. I consider this a serious safety concern. Had the door become stuck while I was inside the bathroom, I could have been trapped without any means of communication or immediate assistance. Overall, my stay was very disappointing due to the cleanliness issues, poor maintenance response, and lack of urgency in addressing a potentially dangerous situation. They also didn’t have Apple Pay available and it was a problem at arrival.

    Def an older property, they are doing the best they can with what they have. Might be worth paying more to go down the street a little. Nothing is nearby, no food or drink.

    Only the hot water in the bath. Dirty, the staff is bad, the location is not ideal, not enough towels and never got them.

    Nothing like what the pictures show. Supposedly remodeled but was run down, filthy, no ice and vending was limited to items that looked like they had been there for quite some time. Man passed out on the steps making it difficult to get to second floor. Breakfast was a dry muffin and small bottle of imitation orange juice.

    Bathroom door did not shut and had hole in it from someone kicking it. When shower was turned on water pipes were so loud we were afraid to shower for fear of busting a pipe. Plumbing was all messed up. This is a dive low-budget hotel, but it was still too much for what little you get. Old, dilapidated, ugly, and depressing. On good side, room was quiet, bed was comfortable, and staff was decent.

    I've stayed at this motel for many years....most of the time it's clean and quiet The first room I got the heat didn't work and I had to be moved.....the main issue i have since you took over this motel 6 is the pet charge....$25/day/pet is excessive....i can see charging $10 extra per stay....i travel with cleaning supplies and clean the rooms before I enter and when I leave and my dogs are crated.....i stay here for the big 4 day dog show....when I travel with all 3 of my dogs...on a 4 day stay this would add $300 to my expenses.....i stay at this motel cuz it's close to American royal and is in a safe area and it's cheap....most dog show people are on a very tight budget......i save for 4 months to be able to go to this dog show....and $300 extra for unfair cost will mean i have to find other places to stay
