Nothing Everything. The pictures are very misleading and for 300+ dollars there wasn’t even a tv. And it’s way smaller than it looks too. It was a 0 out of 10 for me.

It is in a great location and a perfect place to get away for a weekend

No Vacancy is an adorable and unique hotel located in a convenient area of Kansas City. I arrived here after two weeks on the road and this was by far my favorite hotel I got to stay in. The rooms are incredibly spacious and make it feel like your own little apartment. For those who don’t stay up late or have a hard time falling asleep, there is a bar downstairs that will keep you up with noise until 1/2am. I found the best way to combat this was to go downstairs and drink with the bartenders. Definitely would stay again

Loved the unique design of each room, location and amenities overall!! Highly recommend!!

The decor of the room and the location were great There was a shared kitchen just outside my room, so people would gather there, right by my door. Thankfully, they were quiet. The music from the bar downstairs was so loud the floor was shaking - I found this unacceptable as it went on until very late. My colleague, whose room was just above the bar, ended up sleeping on the sofa in my room for the entire stay (2 nights) People leaving the bar or going outside to smoke were super loud too... One more note for other guests: there is no reception.

Fabulous rooms decor and amenities Monotonous bass & drums emanating from ground floor establishment that vibrated everything in the room for 3-4 hours each night until 2 AM. Very difficult to maintain sleep.

I did not get any heads up about the check in process......no humans. Also the front lobby/bar/first floor is under renovations, so it is in the door and to your room. There are some parking garages not too far away. Only 3 hour parking on the streets 7 am to 5 pm or something like that. My room did not have a TV. Bed was comfortable. Guessing once they get their act together it will be nice. There was another $50+ dollar of fees collected by the hotel that was not part of hotels.com so their price on the website vs what I paid felt very much like bait and switch, as I had realized in total it would be that much I would have stayed at a nicer hotel........oh well. FYI - there is fair amount of street noise if you are a light sleeper.

I really enjoyed my stay at No Vacancy! I stayed in Studio 5 and the room was beautiful. I loved that it felt like I was staying in my own loft downtown. The location is great & I never had an issue finding street parking right by the hotel entrance (or just around the corner from it). I will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved our stay. The decor, the comfort. We enjoyed practically everything. Our only critique: EXTREMELY loud inside studio 5 when anyone is in the hall (just walking even). So much more noticeably loud than comparable buildings. I’m not sure if this is acoustics or lack of insulation. Regardless, it didn’t ruin our stay just something to improve upon for quality guest experience.
