Residence Inn by Marriott Kansas City Downtown/ Convention

The hotel essentially was very good, but our room was just okay. The light closest to the bathroom did not work and the drawers in that same area did not close. They constantly kept opening. The bathroom door kept sticking, so when you open it, it makes a loud noise. And this is probably me being picky, but the shower was terrible. It didn't have a door, only half a glass, so water gets everywhere on the floor while you're showering. It sucked cleaning up water after each shower.

The room was very clean and spacious, staff was amazing! Great breakfast in the morning and fantastic kitchen in the room in case you wanted a night in and just enjoy the views.

Staff was wonderful. We have a great time! Excellent idea have cook into the rooms. Helps us to have better and healthy dinners.

They use a very tiny parking garage with low clearance. 2016 Chevy silverado 2500 single cab w/topper cleared by only 1" and stuck out of parking stall. No mention of this in reservations. $34 a night parking is ridiculous when you already paid $200+ for hotel. Shower curtain barely reached tub so water was everywhere. Bathroom door wouldn't even shut. I'm guessing they are remodeling but apparently hadn't gotten to this room yet. Expected much more. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly though.

The beds were comfortable. It was nice to have the free street cars basically right out the back door. Parking is ridiculously expensive though. There are lots of fun things to do that are easily accessible. Breakfast was meh-but there was lots of options. Overall not bad.

The location was great. We went to a concert at T mobile and it was so easy to get around. The pool was over chlorinate, just sitting at pool side irritated our eyes

Hey it’s the nicest place in the area. Plenty of supplies and deer.

Very nice hotel. Is within walking distance of blue light district.

The expense of the parking garage was a little steep for two nights.

Probably my favorite stay and wish I had more time.

We had to tape the drawers of the vanity area shut to be able to walk to the bathroom. The carpets were really dirty, white socks were not white after walking on them.

My opinion for someone who has traveled quit a bit

Room was clean, breakfast was good!
