Residence Inn by Marriott Kansas City Downtown/ Convention

The room was very clean and spacious, staff was amazing! Great breakfast in the morning and fantastic kitchen in the room in case you wanted a night in and just enjoy the views.

They use a very tiny parking garage with low clearance. 2016 Chevy silverado 2500 single cab w/topper cleared by only 1" and stuck out of parking stall. No mention of this in reservations. $34 a night parking is ridiculous when you already paid $200+ for hotel. Shower curtain barely reached tub so water was everywhere. Bathroom door wouldn't even shut. I'm guessing they are remodeling but apparently hadn't gotten to this room yet. Expected much more. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly though.

The beds were comfortable. It was nice to have the free street cars basically right out the back door. Parking is ridiculously expensive though. There are lots of fun things to do that are easily accessible. Breakfast was meh-but there was lots of options. Overall not bad.

The location was great. We went to a concert at T mobile and it was so easy to get around. The pool was over chlorinate, just sitting at pool side irritated our eyes

Convenience of location to tram. Convenience of location to things we wanted to do. The expense of the parking garage was a little steep for two nights.
