Beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, quiet sleeping. Dinner and breakfast at the hotel's restaurant, The Chaz, was excellent. Easy listening live jazz performance makes for a lovely dinner date and visit. This hotel is highly recommended. It is so close to fun shopping. Nothing that we did not like.

A beautiful old hotel. No complaints.

We often try to stay at Autograph Collection hotels when we travel. I’ve always been impressed with the accommodations, cleanliness and service. The Raphael did not come close to what I’ve come to expect from an Autograph Collection hotel. While the staff was courteous, the accommodations were mediocre and cleanliness was questionable - both in the hotel and in the restaurant. This was especially surprising because The Raphael was one of the more expensive Autograph Collection hotels we’ve visited in the Midwest.

Very good

We paid a premium on the day of a World Cup game. The hotel was fine, but not worth $1400 for one night. The gym is small. The carpet is worn. The room cleanliness was fine and the amenities provided in the shower were only fine. For the price I expected a very premium experience and it was just meh. I have had much nicer experiences at other hotels and paid $1000 less per night. Florian at the front desk was great though.

Its charm and location. The elevators are very small.
-
Great hotel but for some reason they have flushometer toilets which when flushed are so loud they would wake everyone in the room. Other than that great hotel.
-
hotel staff went above and beyond with great service. from a free bottle of wine delivered to our room to the restaurant giving us an apple to staff bringing toothpaste to our room. when i left a hairbrush in the room, they had it in the lobby in less than 15 mins. from checkout so that I didn't end up going home without it. they were wonderful! we plan to be back.
-
Staff was fantastic, The Chaz was excellent and delicious. Beds were great.
-
Everything clean. Staff generally friendly but desk people need to greet whenever someone comes in and doormen need to open doors each time. Older doorman was great. Bartender is Richard excellent. Lots to do nearby
-
We rented the kind suite, and it was wonderful! The jacuzzi tub overlooks the Plaza. It was the perfect view with a glass of wine.
-
The staff is fantastic. The food at the restaurant is excellent. The only drawback I had was that my Jag was parked outside for three days of inclement weather. If you’ve got a great car, you might want to request the fee. Keep it in the parking garage for you.
