The Westin Kansas City at Crown Center

We love staying at the Westin Crown Center! It's close to so many fun things to do in Kansas City, and they have a great pool!

We stayed here for the World Cup and had a great experience. Clean, spacious property very conveniently located for activities in downtown Cleveland, and along the streetcar line. It’s connected to a shopping mall and food court with a nice pool and plenty of onsite dining. Very helpful staff, especially Abby at the front desk who helped us deal with a minor issue with our room quickly and professionally. Highly recommend.

Very clean. Easy parking w valet. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, from front desk staff, valets, housekeeping, etc…. Fabulous pool. Loved the convenience of the skywalk to walk to Union Station w out getting wet in the rain. Many great choices for food and shopping in the attached mall.

The Westin Kansas City at Crown Center is a wonderful hotel! We traveled from Hawaii and was greeted with plenty ALOHA! The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially the bell desk worker (who's been there for over 40 years) was very welcoming :) The hotel is clean with cute local shops and places to eat, and the beds are super comfy! We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip.

14$ Per day for WIFI?! It tells me a lot about this hotel: Nothing special - overpriced- boring.

We loved the pool and hot tub. We also found it convenient to walk over to Crown Center and Union Station to go to Science City. We also really appreciated the streetcar stop, which we used all weekend to go to various other parts of the city.

Decent stay, clean, good staff. The gym wasn't well maintained when i was there, no cups to drink from, overflowing towel baskets, otherwise good. Didn't use the bar or restaurant so I can't judge the food or drinks.

Loved our check-in experience. Our person read all of the notes, recognized our anniversary and offered a complimentary breakfast. She was enthusiastic, welcoming and made us want to do another staycation at the Westin. It would have been great had the pool bar/snack lounge been open. Given that it was Memorial Day weekend we thought it would be.

The hotel was pretty clean. The restraunts and stores are not open at the the time they said they were open. The pool area needs some remodeling. There is no place to lay out near the shallow end where my kids were. Too old to hold in the pool but they are not the best swimmers. Didn't feel comfortable foer how far I was from them. There were no cushions on any chairs or bennches until the last day there. There was no towels multiple times. There were young kids in and out of the hot tub and eventually an accident and they had to shut down the hot tub. There were kids fighting beating and hitting eachother and laughing. I had a kid scared hiding in the corner on the inside pool area A large group of adults eating and throwing wrappers all over the floor and smoking pot. Not necessarily a hotel issue but there definitely needs to be some manning of the pool area to keep it kid friendly.
