I was billed twice and I had to go to the front desk to have it resolved. I paid a deposit of 100 dollars and five days later I still haven't received the refund.

This was a decent room for the price. The room and hallway smelled really weird. It was hot and muggy. If they would have had the air on I think it wouldn’t have smelled so bad. I turned the air on full blast when I got into the room and I had brought febreeze and just kept spraying it every few hours. The people were nice and the room was updated.

It was just ok. The breakfast was lacking and just needed some serious help. The young lady at the front desk was pleasant. I emailed the property manager about both compliments and complaints and heard nothing back and it's been two weeks. Would I stay again? No. Would I recommend? Not really. Maybe I'm used to better hospitality. Anyhow, it was safe and quiet and in walking distance to many eating spots. So, for that, give that area a 10: accessibility to many places.

ON THE FOLLOWING DAY, THE CLEANING LADY WAS CLEANING THE ROOM JUST BEFORE MINE WHEN I LEFT THE HOTEL FOR A FEW HOURS. WHEN I RETURNED MY ROOM HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED NOR HAD THE TRASH BEEN DUMPED, NOR WAS THE DIRTY TOWELS PICKED UP OR REPLACED. i WENT TO THE FRONT DESK TO REPORT THIS TO GET IT TAKEN CARE OF, AND THE FRONT DESK CLERK SHOWED ME A DOCUMENT THAT WAS BEHIND THE COUNTER THAT SAID THEY DIDN'T HAVE TO CLEAN UP THE ROOM ON THE SECOND DAY, IF YOU STAYED TWO DAYS. I WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THIS POLICY PRIOR TO THAT MOMENT. SHE THEN CALLED THE MANAGER WHO TOLD HER TO GO DUMP THE TRASH IN THE ROOM AND PICK UP AND REPLACE THE TOWELS. WHO APPEARED TO BE A NEW EMPLOYEE AND DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TOWEL WENT IN THE ROOM. i HELP HER GET THE RIGHT TOWELS AND PICKED UP MY OWN DIRTY TOWELS IN THE BATHROOM AND BROUGHT THEM TO THE FRONT DESK. I ALSO DUMPED MY OWN TRASH SO SHE DIDN[T NEED TO LEAVE THE FRONT DESK UNATTENDED. NEEDLESS TO SAY, I WAS NOT SATISFIED WITH THIS STAY.

Property was poorly maintained. They ran out of coffee and didn’t provide any more at breakfast. We ended up checking out an entire day early due to flooding and asked if they would consider refunding any of our costs/fees for the second night. Property owner said no. Expedia tried negotiating on our behalf they said no.

The staff was very friendly. Chad a leak and they were willing to live us right away but we were exhausted so we didn’t move. They had maintenance in early and it was fixed right away! Pool was cold but great for sole cooling off with the Texas heat. Breakfast was ok. They didn’t keep coffee going through the whole breakfast time or even at night. So that was a bummer. The parking was scary. There was only parking in back and no access to the hotel from there so we had to walk around the building. The whole hotel was clean and comfortable. Now mildew smell like most.

The room was clean, the service was very friendly, the breakfast was varied and complete, and it was very quiet.
