Really nice, friendly staff - especially the lady who checked us in early on the afternoon of the 12th. She was very sweet, professional, and accommodating. Decent breakfast, nice gym and lounge furniture & facilities. Our room had a serious cockroach problem. My husband killed at least six during our stay and we suspect they came from the drain. Our hair dryer also did not work. We asked the young man at the front desk on the evening of the 12th, and he gave us a very dirty replacement which also did not work. We later found out it was an outlet issue and were told that we could either dry our hair in the lobby or ask the front desk to open another room every time we needed to use a hair dryer. Fortunately, the other outlets in our room worked, so we did not have to resort to this, especially as we were in town for a wedding. The recommendation we received regarding the hair dryer also made us hesitant to reach out to the front desk about the cockroaches. We chose Tru by Hilton because of our association and expectations with the Hilton brand. Unfortunately, while the staff were friendly, these issues significantly affected our stay.

I enjoy staying with the Tru by Hilton chain! I've stayed at this location twice 2 months apart and as someone who is a it of a clean freak, I've always felt pretty comfortable. Never had any issues with customer service, card charges, finding parking, safety or cleanliness. It's also in a good location with multiple food options and gas stations nearby. 10/10 would recommend for solo travelers for sure. Room and "closet" space maybe be a bit tight with two people for the single bed-room but still doable. Also is a nice plus that pancakes are a breakfast option.

Ice machine not working and we stayed there during the summer and the water dispenser isn’t maintained properly. Other than that everything is fine.

The Rome had a very foul odor, made it very uncomfortable. I checked in at 12 AM and checked out at 7 AM. The room smell and clerks attitude
