Tru by Hilton Katy Houston West

If you book here and ask for handicap room no guarantee you’ll get it. I asked for one and did not stay in one, even though through Expedia, I did have handicap when I got to the location. It was a regular room. I told the front desk about it and they told me they didn’t see it. even though something was said no room was changed

This hotel is amazing. I have stayed at a few other Tru hotels in other cities and as usual, this one did not disappoint. They are a pet friendly hotel. I had my dogs with me this trip and that was a key point in the hotel I chose for this trip. The staff was very friendly and welcoming upon arrival. Check-in was easy. They let me know what time bfast was being served which I didn't even know was on the house until they let me know. That was much appreciated it. The lobby and room were very clean. As soon as I checked in and got settled, I got a text from the front desk asking if I needed anything and to make sure the room was up to my standards. That was awesome! I will definitely continue to chose Tru hotels in the future.

Perfect and inexpensive stay for a WorldCup 2026 game. 45 minutes from NRH Houston stadium, this was the perfect distance and level of service we were looking for.

It was a great experience. The room was clean and neat, had everything needed in the room. The pool table in the visitor's lobby and board games were the best. Kids loved it

The hotel was well designed and very clean, and the staff was nice.

Overall the staff was very polite and the room was cleanish. The mattress felt like it came from goodwill and the pillows were a joke. My wife and I both woke up in pain.

Did not like being charged $50 deposit just to only sleep over night if I was staying two or three days ok I would understand but overnight but the hotel was comfortable and very nice

The room was very clean and quiet

We enjoyed our stay here! The staff is super friendly and helpful. They even took mind to my dog who also was staying with us. The breakfast items were typical of a continental breakfast with minimal options such as cereal, fruit, pancake machine, toast, bagels and yogurt. Parking was no problem and rooms are clean. I would highly recommend this hotel if you have a pet or even just to stay.

It was clean and quiet.

There was not a breakfast. The bed frames were too sharp on the corners and in a tight place we kept hitting our shin bone and legs! Also the smoke/fire alarm up in the ceiling blinked annoyingly all night!

Night clerk notified me they were sold out of the room I had reserved over a week prior and tried to tell me there would be an up charge. The icemaker by our room did not work. Room appeared clean and fairly sound proof. Breakfast selection was adequate.

I love this hotel because it has just what we need - no more - at a good price. And I love the minimalist style.

Was a good location and rooms were good. I’m just a little picky about the bed. I love my beds to be soft, this one was not to my liking. However, the pillows were outstanding and soft just how I like. Everything else about the hotel was good.

We enjoyed the breakfast a lot! Unfortunately, we didn't see any orange juice. The bed was very comfortable but my husband wanted an extra pillow which was not supplied. Also, there was no liquid soap in the dispenser for the shower. We specifically asked the housekeeping staff for this 2 things to be taken care of, but they weren't. Besides that, everything was fine.

Upon arrival, poorly maintained landscape. Upon entering ceiling tiles were hanging down and possible associated water damage. Carpets in hall dirty with debris and it was hot to walk down, in June. Rooms were clean but had a musty smell. The gym was really nice and had everything I needed for a morning workout. Appreciated the bright lights outside after dark. Would not recommend and would not go back. Did not meet my expectations.
