Good staff

The bathroom fan was loud and didn't work well, the room door needs more sealing. It took too long to cool the room.

I have stayed at this property many times and have always found it to be a pleasant experience, for the price point. The full size refrigerator is a definite plus, especially as my stays have always been for 5 or more days, and it is convenient to be able to 'stock up' without the need to make numerous trips to the store. Speaking of stores, there is a Wal Mart neighborhood Market located close by on Williams and a Wal Mart Superstore, also close by, on Veterans. There are a variety of restaurants and fast-food outlets in close proximity to the motel, one of which is Don Jose's Mexican Cuisine on the corner of Williams and Veterans, about a 5 minute walk. The staff have always excelled in customer service and any repairs that have been needed have been taken care of expediently. The housekeeping staff has been accommodating when I have requested specific items and the rooms have always been clean when I check in. The rooms are nice-sized, with excellent mattresses and pillows and the amenities are adequate (a rubber duck is even included!) I have always found the area to be safe, even when returning in the early morning hours, and parking has never been an issue. The only downside, for me, is that since the rooms are non-smoking (YEA!), smoking guests tend to do it outside at their doors and the odor permeates the area, sometimes two or three rooms away. Overall, my stays have been enjoyable and I highly recommend this motel, even if you're not on a budget.

Budget hotel

Loved it! I stayed one night. Very comfortable, staff nice, and bed was cozy. It was quiet, a lot of places to eat around, and hotel is right by the freeway to head to NOLA. I would stay again.

Super sketchy on the outside BUT room was clean and big. Ac worked great AND they had a mini fan on the wall pointed at the bed. That was amazing. They also required a $50 deposit even if you paid in full which fine but I did not see that stated when I booked. Overall would definitely book again.

rooms were very well cleaned. Staff was very polite and helpful. I was a little skeptical and staying here. The room was only $56 a night compared to other hotels in the area, but I have to say it was very well worth it definitely will stay there again.

Older motel, but fully functional and clean. Very budget friendly. Staff was nice and helpful. Loved that they had a full size refrigerator and microwave that looked to be brand new. We were in Kenner for a medical procedure at Ocshner, so it was close by. The only thing that I could see that needed improvement was the parking lot that was filled with cigarette butts along the edges of the walkway. For the price, you really can't beat it. Sure, it's older and nothing fancy, but it has everything you need. WE'D definitely stay there again.
