Clean, good breakfast 🍳

The staff was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Everyone we interacted with went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and appreciated. The amenities were excellent, the property was clean and well-maintained, and the overall value was hard to beat. Between the convenient location, family-friendly atmosphere, great service, and reasonable price, this hotel exceeded our expectations. If you’re visiting the area, especially with kids, I highly recommend the Comfort Inn Keystone. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip to the Black Hills!

This hotel was in a great location off the Main Street but close enough to walk. Room was very clean. Breakfast was very good. Nice variety.

Great location, good price

Great stay.
-
Great location, close to downtown and Mt. Rushmore. Rooms need remodeling. The electric plug for TV had a bad connection and one or two of the wall light sconces didn't work.
-
Location was great. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Room was a good size. Pool are was nice and good sized. The juice machine was not working for breakfast. It would have been nice if ice water or something other than coffee and milk was available to drink.

Clean room and location near interstate worked well.

Close walk to downtown Keystone. 5 minute drive to Mount Rushmore. Great breakfast. The kids enjoyed the pool

The absolute best part of this property is its location. It is incredibly convenient, with easy walking or driving access to local restaurants and bars. Best of all, it’s only a quick 7-minute drive to the Mount Rushmore National Memorial, which made sightseeing seamless. The Decor: The hotel is dated and in desperate need for a refresh. Our Room: We detected a distinct musty, "wet dog" odor upon entry. The biggest issue was the bathroom plumbing and subsequent service. Within an hour of checking in, we discovered the valve diverter in the bathtub spout broke off completely when we tried to take a shower. I notified the front desk, and a staff member came up 15 minutes later. He had to take the broken piece back to maintenance to look for a replacement. During that time, we noticed a very long strand of wavy black hair on the floor of the bathtub (likely dislodged from the spout when it was removed). The staff member returned 25 minutes later without a replacement part. Instead, he rigged a temporary fix using a long screw to force the water through the shower head. While we appreciated the resourcefulness so we could at least shower, he explicitly told us he filed a maintenance report and that we would likely receive a "small credit" for the major inconvenience. The Management/Breakfast: When we checked out, the hotel manager was on duty and confirmed she had read the maintenance report. However, no credit was ever issued, and none was offered. As for the amenities, the complimentary breakfast was average at best. While the overall spread was decent, the ham had a sour taste. We chose to skip the complimentary entirely on our second morning and went to a local diner instead. Verdict: If you just need a place to sleep near Mount Rushmore and don't mind risking some maintenance quirks, this hotel works—but don't expect much in the way of customer service or quality food.

They had the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever been in. The lobby was gorgeous, the room was quiet, and it was close to the boardwalk and Mount Rushmore. My only complaint was that it seemed like there wasn't enough parking on the property.

No volvería jamás!!

Modern clean hotel well located just a few minutes drive from Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse memorials with a nice rustic feel in the lobby and free private parking out front, friendly staff, big comfortable room, good hot and cold breakfast selection, two or three minute walk from several shops, bars and restaurants in Keystone. Nothing.

Nice hotel in a good location.
-
Nice family hotel and great selection for their continental breakfast. Staff was friendly and helpful.
-
Great staff.
-
The room was stinky and had a high-pitched ringing noise that we never could figure out or eliminate. The breakfast room was so small that it only accommodated a small amount of people nothing close to the size of the hotel. The hot tub and pool water was cloudy.
-
After a long camping trip the clean, comfortable room was wonderful. The bed was supportive and snug. The breakfast was better than I expected with hot food to start my day.

Hotel room had tortilla chips on the floor was not very clean and smelled. Staff very friendly. Good free breakfast in am.
