Fantastic I would stay again

The staff at the hotel was wonderful. We had an issue with the appliance in our room and they fixed that issue. We asked questions about what to do in town and they gave us all kinds of ideas. The people was great to talk and work with.

Excellent service and friendly staff. Great location. Old building but well maintained and clean.

My partner and I stayed for one night as we traveled through the Black Hills National Forest. This inn was older, but remarkably clean and the mini fridge worked well. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The price is pretty affordable considering it was the first weekend of Sturgis's big motorcycle festival.

We enjoyed our time there, staff was very friendly at the front desk. We talked to them on numberous occasions. the property is located in a great location to everything in Keystone. WiFi is a little weak, and property seems a little dated, but good for what we needed. We will absolutely stay again when we are in the area.

Location is incredible Not much it was cute and kitschy
-
easy walking distance to Keystone boardwalk

Location was awesome! Nice coffee bar in lobby. Places to eat within EASY walking distance. Older dated property but well maintained. Firm beds which we like, average bedding, decent towels. Fantastic front staff and room very clean, no smells. Because of the age of the property, there are no elevators so access to the second and third floor require hefting your suitcases up. That was not a problem for us, but I think Booking.com needs to make that fact prominent for other people. TV was small, but that’s a minor issue.
-
Very dated and needs carpets replaced but other than that it is a nice convient location.
-
Comfortable bedding. Great location just off the boardwalk at the edge of downtown. Old style tub/shower combination.
-
Room was clean and large had a suite booked. , they do. Not have air on so room needed to cool down. Decor a little dated, but again it was clean, conveniently located and felt safe.
-
The staff was helpful The room was clean. We would definitely go back there again.
-
The location is very close to Mount Rushmore ( 5 Miles), it is in the center of Keystone so walking to shops, food and able to get a easy road to Custer State Park.

Location We were very disappointed with our stay. The room was not clean when we arrived. The trash bins had not been emptied, and there was leftover garbage from previous guests. The beds were extremely uncomfortable—you could feel the springs through the mattress, making it very difficult to sleep. The bed covers also had a strong unpleasant smell, as if they hadn't been properly washed. To make matters worse, there was visible mold on the bathroom ceiling. Overall, we felt very uncomfortable and wanted to change hotels, but because it was the weekend, there were no available rooms anywhere else. To top it all off, I developed a rash on my legs after the stay and now have to see a dermatologist. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience, and I would not recommend this hotel.

The property is old and in need of repairs/remodeling. The view across the street is a rundown very old trailer court. However, the staff is very nice and helpful. The mattresses & pillows were all just replaced and were very comfortable.

I loved the location. It was less than 3 miles to Mt. Rushmore and right next to the adorable town of Keystone which had many enticing shops where one strolled not on cement sidewalks but wooden planks thus the name Boardwalk Inn and Suites. We were welcomed by Kim who was wonderful… very helpful and friendly. A+ to her and A+ to Keystone Boardwalk Inn and Suites. I liked everything!

The place was very nice and well setup. The amenities were very good. The staff were very pleasant and helped with plans for the day. Would definitely visit again.

No elevator

The hotel was close to Mount Rushmore. The staff was very friendly and helpful with planning the next leg of my road trip. The coffee in the office was delicious. They don't have much parking at the motel site. A traveler can use the local public parking for free with the hotel slip in the dashboard. This is not very safe for single female travelers.
