I stayed at this hotel while I was at the Sturgis motorcycle rally, so I was traveling on a motorcycle. The condition of the room wasn't very good. The floor was filthy. I had to wash my feet off after I walked barefooted because it was so dirty. The shower barely had any hot water. The sink would not drain very fast. The breakfast was not very good and the coffee was horrible. There was rarely anybody at the front desk so you could ask for something or need something. I was staying by myself since I was on my motorcycle trip solo. If my wife would have been staying with me I would have complained very much. It wasn't that important to me because all I did was sleep there. The bed actually was pretty comfortable. The location of this hotel was the reason I stayed there. Also, I like the covered parking for my motorcycle. If a clean room with good breakfast is important to you, I would not stay at this hotel. If you're just traveling on a motorcycle and need a quick shower and a place to sleep, it is a pretty good location.

Place was dated but clean. Room was small but adequate. Heat/AC unit is noisy. We were given a handicap accessible room which we didn’t request, but it was during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally so we were glad to find a room! Only downer was breakfast is on the third floor and the elevator wasn’t working. My husband has mobility issues so it was a no for him!

They were all very helpful and I definitely stay there again

Clean rooms, very helpful staff, good food, and nice pool. The location of the hotel is excellent, too.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean except needed the carpet cleaned in a couple spots. Bathroom needed a little updating. Other than that we would stay here again. Location was convenient as well.

Awakened due to noisy room at 5:30 AM as staff were preparing breakfast in adjacent room Very small 1980's commode and shower No ceiling light in the entryway Noisy window mounted A/C unit Very clean. Staff were helpful. Property needs to consider renovation.

Room was cleaned, and staff was kind. But not enough parking lot at 1 floor and not bad breakfast.

Breakfast was great. Swimming pool was nice. Wasn’t thrilled with the hot tub, trying to relax and looking up and seeing the vent above me full of dust and grime. Rooms were fine little small for more then 2 people . parking is horrible at least for the second floor that I was on trying to get up and down that ramp and people trying to walk up and down the ramp at the same time.

The room was clean

I wanted to immediately take a shower after driving all day long. Parking was very tight. My room was clean upon first inspection. I moved my things into the room. Got into the shower, but before I could turn on the water, the ceiling started dripping on me - I’m not sure if the water was clean or the drainage from someone else’s shower. Either way it was one of the most disgusting things I’ve had happen to me at a hotel. I told the front desk and she immediately assigned me a different room, almost like she knew the room I was assigned at first was an issue. Next morning, I asked for a refund or discount on the room for the hassle and also the negative experience. I was told my room was already at a discounted rate so there was nothing they could do. Does that mean the negative experience is built into my discounted rate? I think the staff could have done something to make this a little better or make it right. It wouldn’t have taken much.

Was an okay stay for being the first night out on the trip. Could be better for future stays!

Great base for visiting Mount Rushmore. Good representation of Choice properties. Ramp to second floor parking lot was very steep, but great option for us. Nice pool and facility. Breakfast had hot protein options, room and bed was very comfortable.

Good check in process and clean room.

Don't pay extra for an efficiency room... you will get the same stuff stuff in a regular room..non working ancient stove top with no dishes/ pots and pans. Outdated room... the beds were probably original from day one..... Parking is a total nightmare!! Do yourself a favor and stay anywhere else!!

Room was very clean. Staff was kind. Parking is super weird and the bathroom tub faucet leaked. I don’t really know how to explain the parking but just know if you have a big rig it’s gonna be awkward. Campers and so forth are a no go. Just parking my SUV was awkward different experience. I slept like a log though in the clean room with the sound machine cranked up so it worked out. It’s definitely dated but was a great value for the money so I really didn’t care.

Had a great stay! We travel a lot, so I have had my fare share of Hotel & Motel rooms. This would be one my top rooms for the price and location. Room was very clean, the beds were so comfortable! An uncomfortable bed can ruin any vacation or stay. We were in the 2nd floor, were able to park right in front of our door. The balcony looked over the beautiful town, which has everything in walking distance, food fldrinks, shopping. The breakfast was really good, waffles, eggs, sausage, toast, cereal, muffins, OJ, Apple Juice, Coffee. My only suggestion would be to up date the breakfast area slightly, it's small and boxed in. Would definitely recommend and come back!

The hotel is good. It’s showing signs of age. The toilet got plugged up (not from us) but it got fixed soon after we reported it. Local eateries close about 9 pm so don’t be too late on getting something to eat. You are right down town though so everything is within a short walk.

Parking was a problem. Spaces were small and lack of availability of spaces.

Friendly staff, and perfect location in Keystone to walk to the shops and restaurants. The pool and hot tub and breakfast were great, as well as the treats for sale in the machines in the lobby!
