Overall good & clean. Needs to be updated.

We were assigned a room near the breakfast area. Late into the night buses ran their diesel engines with much noise filtering into our room. Early in the morning people started walking past our room talking loudly, shouting to friends and just generally making a loud racket. It sounded like they were in the room with us. So sleeping was difficult on both ends of the night. Plus, starting at 8 am or earlier the buses were loading right outside our room. Nightmare!!!

The view of Mount Rushmore from our deck was an absolute surprise. We attended the closing ceremony at Rushmore and returned to our room. We then realized that the faces were still visible with the lights and it was right outside our deck. Very beautiful.

Great location, staff was great, their pub food was good too after a day of sightseeing and coming in hungry. Loved that you could see Mount Rushmore from the lobby.

The experience at the hotel is very good but quite soon, there will be a need for a substantial modernisation programme in the bedrooms. The furniture is somewhat tired and dated.

We had a great view. The room was clean and the staff were nice. I would stay here again.

Privacy and being close to Mount Rushmore
-
Great location away from downtown Keystone.

Not only was this place wonderfully run it is set in a gorgeous setting. The breakfast was nice and all the staff were welcoming.

This used to be one of our favorite destinations. The use of harsh chemical perfumes on carpets and other things is insane. Please stop using these!!!

Beautiful location. Comfortable rooms. Food was excellent.

We enjoyed our stay and would return and or suggest this resort to family if and when the rooms are upgraded. They are in need of some improvement. The breakfast could have been better but tolerated.

This was an absolutely great place to stay. The staff was great , the breakfast was wonderful and it has beautiful grounds. A very nice restaurant and an evening with a fire pit if you enjoy sitting around the fire with a beverage of your choice Nice and quiet at night in a comfortable room. Location is great for a lot of attractions.

Beautiful views, well furnished and maintained. Great location only 2 miles from Mt Rushmore and a quarter mile from Main Street They even provided a complementary wheelchair for our use

The location in the mountains was fantastic. The pictures made it look nicer and newer than it actually was. We also paid a premium price indicating we would get what we saw in the pictures but we didn’t. They told us it was a 5 star experience for a 3 star hotel but we later found 4 star hotels for a much cheaper price

Excellent location and services

We were pleasantly surprised! The lodge is in a perfect location for visiting Mt Rushmore and walking into Keystone. Great breakfast, nice lobby area, well maintained. Our room was a little dark/dated, but we spend most time outdoors so it wasn’t an issue. Would definitely book again.
